Police from the Zhuichuan Police Station in Shenyang City Abduct and Persecute a Female Practitioner from Out of Town in 2002
(Clearwisdom.net) On December 20, 2002, the police from the Zhuichuan
Police Station in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, illegally arrested a female
practitioner from out of town. Around 6 a.m. on December 21, she jumped out of
the second floor window of the police station in order to resist the
persecution. She was severely injured from the fall and could not walk by
herself. The police dragged her to the second floor of the station, dislocating
her shoulder in the process and causing her excruciating pain. Inside the police station, she had to lie down on the ground. The police
again dragged her to the interrogation room and then beat and kicked her. It was
not until 5 p.m. that they sent her to the hospital to examine her injuries. The
x-ray showed that her hipbone was fractured in two places and her right foot was
also fractured. She asked the doctor to hospitalize her, but the doctor told her that the
police made the decisions. The deputy director of the police station angrily
said, "Watch how I will fix you later!" She was taken back to the
police station. She sat on a chair and moaned in pain. The police still ignored
her. She was finally sent to the supervised hospital on the third day of her
detention. In the No. 5 cell, ten other people were crammed into the small room
with her. Her bed was next to the washroom and less than one meter from the
sink. The cell was dark, and the stench was
overwhelming. The other patients in the room were sick with all kinds illnesses
such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, syphilis or scabies. There were blood and urine
stains on her bed sheet. She was bedridden and couldn't move. She refused to cooperate with the
authorities and did not take part in roll call. The person in charge of the
prisoners didn't allow anyone to help her relieve herself. She had no clothes to
change into and no toilet paper to use. She was even deprived of her basic right
to see her family. After three months she was still in therapy, but the police wanted to send
her to the forced labor camp for further persecution. Since the doctor didn't
agree, they had to relent. During seven months in the hospital, she was poorly taken care of and poorly
fed. This caused her feet to lose feeling, and she developed neuralgia in her
toes for 24 hours. The pain was excruciating. During the eighth month, the police sent her to the forced labor camp, but
the camp refused to accept her. Instead, the police sent her the No.1 Shenyang
Detention Center. The next day, they sent her to the police hospital for an
examination. An X-Ray showed that she needed immediate hospitalization. Only
under these circumstances did they inform her family to arrange for her medical
parole. 2004/11/01
