By Wang Dagong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jilin City, Jilin Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Photos 1 and 2 Date/Duration: December 31, 1999, from afternoon until after midnight. Place: Tiananmen Square Police Station, Beijing. Perpetrators: Police officials. Torture: My hands were cuffed together behind my back, with one hand
being pulled up, then down from the shoulder, the other one up from below. My
body was doubled over, with legs straight, and my head below hip level. After
more than three hours in this position, two policemen repeatedly lifted and then
dropped me to the ground. They didn't stop this torture even when my legs became
so weak that I could no longer stand up. Afterwards, I couldn't straighten my
back, and both wrists were bruised. Date/Duration: Beginning on March 3, 2000, continuing for approximately
20 days. Place: Gaoxin District Brainwashing Center, Jilin City, Jilin Province. Perpetrators: Security brigade staff led by Zhang Yong. Torture: I was forced to lean against the wall like a piece of lumber at
an angle of 30 to 40 degrees. Either a water glass or a piece of paper was
placed between my head and the wall. I had to make sure that the glass or the
paper didn't fall to the ground. I was forced to stand on my toes with my heels
in the air. Zhang Yong and the others made fun of me while drinking wine. The
torture began during the night and continued until dawn. They did this to me
nearly every night. Date/Duration: From September 30 to mid-November, 2000, during
brainwashing sessions. Place: Inside a secret room at the Gaoxin District Brainwashing Center,
Jilin City, Jilin Province. Perpetrators: Zhang Yong and another staff member from Gaoxin District
Security Brigade. Torture: They handcuffed one of my arms to a gas heating pipe over my
head, and then held the other arm while beating and kicking me until my body
throbbed in agony. The injuries I sustained resulted in my being sent to the
hospital for emergency care. They even extorted 170 yuan from my family,
claiming it was for medical expenses.
