More Information About Practitioner Ms. Chen Guilan from Tianshui City, Gansu Province, Tortured to Death in 2002

(Clearwidom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Guilan was from Beidao District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. She was a senior engineer in Department 213 of the Nuclear Institute. In September 2004, Ms. Chen was deceived into going to the Public Security Bureau by a messenger sent by section head Feng Jitang of the Public Security Sub-division of the Beidao District. The messenger promised she could go home once she answered a few questions there. However, Ms. Chen was apprehended as soon as she stepped into the Public Security Bureau. She was sent straight to the Women's Labor Camp in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, where she was tortured to death in just a few days.

On October 1, 2002, the police called Ms. Chen's family asking them to come claim her body. They said she died of myocardial infarction. However, Chen Guilan's husband noticed that her legs were covered with bruises and deep gouges. It was clear that her death was due to severe abuse and torture.

Before her death, Chen Guilan had been illegally arrested and detained numerous times. During her detention, this kind-hearted older woman had to bear the inhuman and brutal torment by Feng Jitang and other wicked police officers.
