Sweden: Practitioners Hold Anti-Torture Poster Exhibition in Stockholm (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 11, 2004, the streets of Stockholm were crowded. Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture picture exhibition outside the Parliament building to inform passersby about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and to introduce the practice to the public.

Hundreds of people gladly accepted flyers and stopped to look at the pictures and read the information, which was translated into both English and Chinese in addition to Swedish. They watched the demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, listened to the exercise music and asked questions about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

People expressed their support and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution, which has lasted five and a half years and taken over 1,100 lives. Many Chinese people accepted flyers and read the information boards. People were shocked when they learned about the brutal torture and persecution that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China.
