Germany: Practitioners Appeal at the Chinese Consulate in Munich on World Human Rights Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the 11th of December, the day after German practitioners held World Human Rights Day activities in conjunction with human rights organizations, practitioners from Munich and nearby cities gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Munich to appeal against the Chinese communist regime's violation of human rights. They appealed to bring an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and demanded that former communist leader Jiang Zemin be brought to justice.

Over the past five years, Jiang and his regime have exploited their power to conduct a systematic, comprehensive and brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, kindhearted people who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. Now they are afraid of the international media exposing their crimes and continue a policy of employing even more brutal methods to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

According to a report on the Minghui website on December the 9th 2004, Song Zhenling, who is a schoolteacher from Xingzheng village, has been persecuted to near blindness. Since Jiang started the persecution against Falun Gong on July the 20th 1999, this happy family has suffered constantly. Song Zhenling's wife Wang Guijin was pregnant for nine months. Dai Zhengyuan, the head of the Lutai police, station feared that if Wang had the baby it would be too much trouble to detain her, so they arrested her and forced her to have an abortion. Another of their children is only four and now has to live apart from his parents.

These kinds of things are happening every day. Thirty-two year old Falun Gong practitioner Li Shuhua from Yushi was cheated and taken away by the police. She was forced to write a statement against her will. Sixteen days later, Li tragically died in the prison: her left eye was swollen, red spots were found all over her body and a lot of blood was found inside her abdominal cavity. Her husband, who was detained at the same time, heard her crying again and again whilst being beaten by the police. Later on Yang was sentenced to seven years and is now detained in Siping prison in Jilin. Someone from inside the police revealed that Li was beaten to blindness by the police and later on killed to cover up the truth.

To prevent this kind of thing happening again and to give Falun Gong practitioners the freedom to have their own belief and to practice in China, on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners appealed to the whole society to support justice and at the same time condemn the crimes committed by the Jiang regime and strongly demand that the persecutors be brought to justice.
