My Wife and I Both Experienced Miracles from Practicing Falun Dafa

I am a practitioner from Yuanbao Area, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. I started practicing Falun Gong in the beginning of 1998. Due to a traffic accident my arm was fractured and dislocated. The pain was hard to endure. At that time I had the good fortune to find Falun Dafa and I benefited tremendously. With the miracles that I experienced, I eagerly finished listening to Teacher's Lectures in Jinan (14 cassettes) within one day. On the same day Teacher started the purification of my body. After six days, more than ten kinds of serious diseases had completely vanished. The hemorrhoids that had caused me enormous pain also disappeared.

Previously, my hearing was very poor. One day, less than a month after I obtained Dafa, because I read very slowly as I couldn't read all the words, my wife read Zhuan Falun (1) to me from dinner time until 2:00AM. That night I had a headache that was hard to endure, but my wife told me Teacher was purifying my body. I only managed to go to sleep when it was almost morning. When I woke up I discovered my face and the pillow had a thick layer of purplish blood. While washing my face, some mucous neither yellow nor white flowed from my ears. After that I could hear the sound made by washing my face, and I could hear the ticking of the wristwatch on the table! My joy was indescribable. I could not help but say, "Thank you Teacher for purifying my body!"

My wife obtained Dafa in the end of 1997. Compared to the way she was before obtaining Dafa, she was a complete new person. The difference is like earth and heaven!

My wife had contracted more than 20 kinds of diseases; the most serious were heart disease, hepatitis, hydrothorax, schizophrenia, rheumatic arthritis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, uterine fibroma, lumbar hyperplasia and so on; she had all sorts of chronic illnesses. She was well known to speak and curse at very high volume, like a soprano. When she had laryngitis, she was not able to make a sound. Sometimes for more than 20 days she could not say a word, and only then did I feel at ease with my family.

Finally one day, she was paralyzed. She could not go to the bathroom without my help. One night I came home very late, and as I opened the door I was shocked to see that my wife was able to walk around. She was happy and said that our neighbor taught her to practice Falun Gong, and she obtained this great book Zhuan Falun, and the effect was so quick that she immediately benefited from it. I was so happy that I hugged her and said, "As you're doing Falun Gong exercises, you won't curse at people anymore, and your health will also improve. From now on you don't need to do anything. I'll take care of everything as long as you treat our child and me well. You should practice Falun Gong persistently." This time I truly felt in my heart that Falun Dafa is good!

From then on my wife practiced Falun Gong daily. She does chores day in and day out without feeling tired. She no longer needs to take medicine. She only sleeps 4 hours a day. She reads the book all of the time. In less than three days, over 20 kinds of diseases all vanished from her completely. Her back, which she could not straighten for years, is now straight. Falun Gong is a complex and supernatural science. My wife saved our country between 3000 and 6000 yuan in medical expenses every year. She is healthy in mind and body. She takes good care of the elderly parents, our child and me. The relationship between neighbors has also improved; we live in peace and harmony. She took the initiative and apologized to the neighbors with whom she fought before. She also introduced Falun Gong to our neighbors. Our neighbors were extremely moved. They all knew Falun Gong had saved her, and saved this family. All of our friends and relatives were happy for her change. She hoped that I could learn Falun Gong. I told her it was good enough that she practices it; I will wait for a time. Every day I was happy to go to work and to come back home. After more than 20 years I finally felt harmony in the family.

One day my arms were fractured and dislocated in a traffic accident. It was too painful to endure. I could not eat or sleep. My wife said that she would read Zhuan Falun to me, and I should concentrate on listening to what the book says. I thought, "I'm in so much pain, how could it be possible?" So I told her to read after the pain was gone. She disagreed and started reading. I listened for a while, and felt the pain was relieved a lot. As soon as she stopped, the pain would come back again. So she continued reading, and without intending to I fell asleep. I personally experienced the supernatural power of Dafa, so after that I started practicing Falun Gong. Without this traffic accident, I would have had no personal experience and stubborn people like me would never practice Falun Gong.

On the fifth day of my hospitalization, my wife asked the doctor about the medical expenses. It was already more than 1,250 yuan. It was a huge burden for our family because we were already in debt for 40,000 yuan. Therefore I requested to be released from the hospital. The doctor said that in order to recover from an injury like mine it would take at least a year in the hospital; a young man in the same room was already in the hospital for nine months due to his broken bones, yet I wanted to leave the hospital after only five days. He said the hospital could not guarantee I would not be disabled. When I was worried and fearful, my wife firmly said, "It's all right! Let's go home and study Falun Gong." During my departure, several of my fellow patients and the doctors were concerned and said, "Pay attention. You must be very careful. Come back to the hospital quickly if it does not work."

I went home and started studying Dafa, and less than a month later I happily drove to the hospital to see my fellow patients and the doctors. When they heard I drove there myself, none of them could believe it. After inspecting the injuries the doctors were surprised and asked me what I had taken to recover so quickly. I told them I practiced Falun Gong, and that many kinds of diseases had disappeared simultaneously. When I saw their shocked faces, I loudly told them, if one can practice Falun Gong and cultivate his xinxing, and does everything according to the nature of the universe, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," and if he can follow Teacher's requirements, then Teacher will eliminate his karma that was generated due to his previous bad deeds. Then the body would become light, and without any disease.

The young man with the broken bones said, "I was hospitalized for nearly nine months without being able to recover completely. After seeing your appearance and listening to what you've said, I also want to study Falun Gong." Then he came home with me, and my wife enthusiastically talked with him, gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun, and told him to buy Dafa books in the bookstore. He was very happy to have the book. Afterwards he also benefited. Later he came to my home to express his gratitude, and he told me that quite a few of the other patients had also bought the book.

After my wife and I obtained Dafa, we used our own experiences to spread Dafa and to save sentient beings. Especially with my wife's change, everyone who knew her said she had changed into a new person. When her factory director heard that she had become a good person, that she no longer fought with people nor cursed them, he simply couldn't believe it. He said, "If she does not curse at people I will not eat my meal. If she could become a good person, then the world could be free of bad people." Her factory director doubtingly visited my family. When he saw the change in her with his own eyes he also took a copy of Zhuan Falun back home.

Teacher Li Hongzhi mentioned in Zhuan Falun that if one practices then the entire family will benefit. I feel very deeply that this is so. Since my wife practiced Falun Gong, my life was saved in the traffic accident. Our young child's nose would frequently bleed without stopping. No medicine we tried worked. After my wife and I began practicing Falun Gong, the child's nose no longer bleeds.

Witnessing my entire family's change, my wife's father, who is over 70 years old, with many kinds diseases, also started practicing Falun Gong. All his diseases were cured through the practice. Moreover, black hair now grows out of his once completely bald head. He firmly believes that Falun Dafa is a supernatural science.

My wife's mother is over 70 years old. She had a cerebral hemorrhage, and had no brain activity for more than two months. She completely recovered after four months of practicing Falun Gong. She was so happy that she rode a bicycle all around town. Her recovery shocked the entire area; nearly everybody knows she recovered due to practicing Falun Gong.
