(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Dafa in March of 2002. During the past two years, I experienced many miracles and truly felt that Teacher has been guiding me and protecting me every moment.

Before practicing Falun Gong, I suffered from gynecological disorders and bone spurs. In October of 2001, I had an accident in which my right eye hemorrhaged, and the retina in my left eye became detached. After medical treatment, my eyesight was only 0.01 in both of my eyes. I became a burden to my family and felt helpless. When I lost hope and confidence, my daughter's friend told me: "I heard that practicing Falun Gong can cure some diseases that hospitals cannot cure." However, he himself did not practice Falun Gong. In addition, there was a lot of slanderous propaganda against Falun Gong at that time. I was anxious to learn more but he could not provide me with more information. I wondered whether I could practice and who could teach me.

Several days later, a long-lost friend visited me. He told me that his wife had bought two sets of Falun Gong books and audiotapes several years ago, but she did not practice Falun Gong. She also worried that she would be persecuted if others knew that she owned these materials. I then asked him if she could give me one set. He wanted to give me just the audiotapes, since I could not read, but I insisted on having both the books and tapes.

When I listened to the first lecture, Teacher's voice was so compassionate, and I felt a warm current flowing throughout my body. My body felt light and I wanted to listen more.

Several days later, a practitioner came to my house to teach me the exercises. I learned the five sets of exercises and I felt the spinning of countless falun [Law wheels]. Very soon Teacher purified my body.

In twenty days, I could read on my own! The diseases that had tortured me for over ten years all disappeared. Just like what Teacher said in the book Zhuan Falun, the wrinkles on my face have waned and my skin developed a fair and rosy complexion. My menstrual period also returned.

This miracle instantly changed my family's attitude towards Falun Gong. Knowing that Dafa can improve one's health and uplift morality and that it teaches people to be truly good by following the principle of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, they are very grateful for Teacher and Dafa. My family came to realize that all the propaganda launched by Jiang's regime is false and that it slanders Teacher and Dafa.

As my family came to know the truth, my husband's high blood pressure was cured. My children became more considerate and my family life became more harmonious.

During the past two years, I have been following Teacher's words. Through studying the Fa, practicing the exercises and cultivating my xinxing, I have given up all my former bad habits and attachments such as selfishness, the fighting mentality and jealousy. Before, I would not forgive and was intolerant of others if they made mistakes. I would blame and insult others. However, Dafa and Teacher changed me. I know how to be a good person. My compassion has blossomed naturally and I no longer care about personal fame and gain. I have become calmer when I talk to others and show more consideration towards my family. I am also more energetic now.

For those people who came to visit me or were concerned about my health, I would always tell them of the miraculous effect of Falun Gong and the truth about Dafa, so that they would no longer be deceived by the false propaganda. I told them that many practitioners were tortured to death and many others have been detained in labor camps, mental hospitals and prisons, where they have been brutally tortured. Seeing that my eyes completely recovered and my diseases were cured, everyone was happy for me and they were also convinced that Falun Dafa is good.

I clarify the truth to all of my friends, colleagues, and relatives using my own experience as an example, and I also give them Falun Dafa VCDs. In addition, I visited the family that gave me the Dafa books, to express my gratitude. Seeing the changes in me, they also started practicing Falun Dafa last year.

On the path of validating Dafa, I have truly felt that one righteous mind suppresses hundreds of evils. As long as we are righteous, Teacher is watching over us all the time. Whenever I go out to distribute truth-clarifying materials, my body feels very light. Not long ago, I noticed that there were always police vans waiting at a major road and policemen at every entrance of some communities. However, other practitioners and I still managed to post banners reading, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Jiang Zemin has been sued in international courts for persecuting Falun Gong" at popular sites. We also posted truth-clarifying materials at every building on some streets. The police have no idea how we did all this, right under their noses. Our righteous deeds and acts efficiently suppressed the evil. As a result, those police vans disappeared soon. Everything we do is for validating Dafa and saving sentient beings. Meanwhile, we are eliminating the evil and showing the magnificence of Dafa.

After reading Teacher's article, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People," I realized that what I have done previously is so little. I see clearly that I still have the attachment of fear and other human notions and I need to catch up and try my best to save more sentient beings with the wisdom gained from Dafa. I am confident that I can do better, with a firm belief in Teacher and Dafa and as long as I keep a pure heart and righteous mind at all times. Otherwise, I will let Teacher down and am not worthy of Teacher's compassion.

It is Teacher who purified me and guided me to the path of returning to my origin. I am determined to cultivate myself into a person who is without selfishness and who always thinks of others first. I am determined to truly become a particle of the boundless Dafa. I will follow Teacher's every word and direct myself according to the principle of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.
