The Situation of Zhao Qin, Teenage Daughter of Deceased Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Aiying from Yitong County, Jilin Province
By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jilin Province, China
(Clearwisdom.net) On December 4, 2004, five policemen broke into Falun
Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Aiying's home in Yitong County, Jilin Province
intending to arrest her. To avoid being subjected to further persecution, Ms. Li
made a rope from bed sheets and attempted to lower herself to the ground from
the window. Unfortunately, in the process, she accidentally fell and died. The
following describes the current circumstances of her second daughter, Zhao Qin. Name: Zhao Qin Zhao Qin is now being taken care of by her father, Zhao Haijie, the Deputy
Town Supervisor in Dagushan Town, Yitong County. He has remarried. Zhao Qin was
in the third grade of junior high school in the Twelfth Middle School of Yitong
County when her mother died. Zhao Qin's mother, Li Aiying, was 48 years old. She worked at the Yidan
Forest Farm in Yitong County, Jilin Province. Her apartment was on the Sixth
Floor, Center Unit of the residential building of the Yitong Town Medicinal
Materials Company in Yitong County. As Ms. Li Aiying had greatly benefited from practicing Falun Gong, she went
to Beijing to appeal in November 2000 after the persecution had begun. She was
illegally seized by police in the appeals office and held for over a month in
the Yitong County Detention Center. The police did not release her until her
family paid them an enormous amount of extortion money to buy her release. In
the spring of 2001, Ms. Li Aiying was again picked up by authorities and taken
to the Party School of the Yitong County Committee, where she was subjected to
intensive brainwashing. Around 6:30 on the morning of December 4, 2003, Zhao Qin got ready for school
and opened the door to leave the house. Five police officers led by Liu Tiejun
and Xie (female) from the Yongning Street Police Precinct had been waiting
outside for a long time. They seized this opportunity to forcibly enter her home
without any warrant or legal document. Ms. Li Aiying quickly hid in the bedroom
and locked the door. While her family members were arguing with the police, two
young policemen started to kick open the door and threatened that they would
break down the door if she didn't open it. To avoid being subjected to
persecution again, Ms. Li tore a bed sheet into strips, tied the pieces into a
rope and attempted to lower herself to the ground from the window. In the
process she accidentally fell. Her ribs and internal organs were severely
damaged as a result of the fall and she died. Her body was cremated on December
6, 2003. Ms. Li's husband, Zhao Haijie, was at home when she died, but he wouldn't
tell anybody anything. It is said that Yang Feng, the then head of the county,
talked to him in person, and promised him something if he didn't talk about the
incident. Phone numbers of related persons: Responsible unit: The Political and Security Section, Yitong County Police
