(Clearwisdom.net) On Sunday, December 12, 2004, the Jianzhong Middle School celebrated the 106^th anniversary of the founding of the school. Many people attended the celebration. The Falun Dafa Club that was just set up this summer also took part in the celebration.

Amongst bustling stands of different associations and groups, a banner with three big golden Chinese characters, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" could be seen in the distance being hung in the second floor classroom. Falun Gong practitioners prepared an introduction of Falun Gong and the five sets of the exercises, survey results from Falun Gong practitioners' physical and mental states, and pictures depicting Falun Gong's popularity around the world. Practitioners also introduced people working in educational circles to the situation of teachers and students in Taiwan who have benefited both physically and mentally by following the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The practitioners also illustrated the important role the book Zhuan Falun plays in educating people to uplift their moral character. For example, according to the report in Chinese Times, there was a head of a township who was involved in a bribery case. During his detention, he read the book Zhuan Falun, and subsequently forgave the person who reported him to the authorities.

Mr. Xie, who is a teacher and has practiced Falun Gong for two years, said, "In the past two years, through practicing Falun Gong, I have become healthy both physically and mentally. I live a stable daily life, I've learned more about the preciousness of life, and I cherish all this and feel grateful. I have benefited greatly. So I hope more people can learn about Falun Dafa and experience the happiness of being physically and mentally healthy, and live full and meaningful lives."

Films were shown at the exhibition to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and there were also exhibitions of ten artists' works. The artists are all Falun Gong practitioners, who used their skills to display the brutal persecution of Falun Gong for the past five years. The artwork depicted the practitioners' uncompromising courage amidst the persecution. People learned how Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in the face of brutal persecution. Many audience members appreciated the high artistic standards, and were touched by the practitioners' lofty ideals.

Three little girls came to visit three times, and when they were asked if they had any questions, one girl pointed at a painting where a policeman is force-feeding a practitioner and asked, "What are they doing? What is that rubber tube? Why is it inserted into her nose?" A practitioner said, "Falun Gong practitioners in China are good people, they have never hurt anyone or committed any crimes, so they should not be detained or be made to suffer torture. They went on hunger strike in prisons. The police who should take care of people arrested them and force-fed them to torture them. Is it right to do so?" The three little girls answered in unison, "It's not right!" Another little girl pointed at the painting of Wang Lixuan and her son being tortured to death, and said, "Even the child is not spared!" They then pointed at the painting where there is a girl named Fadu, and asked, "What is this little girl doing?" The practitioner said, "Her father died as a result of the persecution for persisting in being a good person. Fadu and her mother used her father's photo to tell the people in the world that Falun Dafa is good and ask them to please help stop the persecution of Falun Gong!" Three little girls nodded their heads and their eyes were filled with understanding and kindness.

Many people showed support and understanding for Falun Dafa, and many people wanted to learn the exercises after watching beautiful images of practitioners' doing the exercises. There were also many students with their parents. One student's mother said that she was very pleased to see the school have this Falun Gong Club. She hoped that her child would practice the exercises and study the Fa more. An alumnus with his girlfriend came back to visit the exhibition, and inquired about how to start practicing. A parent was very glad to watch the exhibition, and said that she had been looking for Falun Gong, but she had not expected to find it here. She asked many questions and borrowed a copy of Zhuan Falun from a practitioner.

Outside the exhibition room, several practitioners practiced the five sets of exercises at the downstairs flower garden. The peaceful music and gentle movements attracted many teachers, students, and parents. Some practitioners handed out bookmarks with the words "Falun Dafa is Good" and small handmade lotus flowers. When practitioners told visitors that Falun Gong cultivation practice could improve people's health both physically and mentally, many teachers and students smiled and expressed that they had already learned about it. In classes, some teachers are telling their students that their family members practice Falun Gong.

The Falun Dafa group won an Excellent Work Award at the exhibition.
