The Present Situation of Men Dongrui, Surviving Son of Practitioner Ms. Dai Chunhua, Who Was Tortured to Death


(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Dai Chunhua, from Lishu County, Jilin Province, was tortured to death on March 9, 2002, when she was only 34 years old. The following information is about Ms. Dai's surviving son Men Dongrui.

Men Dongrui is 11 years old. He currently lives in Lishu County Shijiabao with his uncle, who is his guardian. He attends Shijiabao Elementary School.

Men Dongrui originally lived with his father in Lishu Town, Dayantong Division No.1. His father was unemployed. His father remarried but divorced again and relied on leasing three-wheelers for a living. Fellow practitioners from Dalian City had previously donated 3,000 yuan to support his father. Men Dongrui's uncle is unemployed, and his aunt is a schoolteacher.

Ms. Dai Chunhua was formerly a nurse at the First People's Hospital in Lishu County, Jilin Province. On February 19, 2002, she was arrested and imprisoned at Siping City's Detention Center, where she suffered inhuman torture. Ms. Dai went on hunger strikes during the detention and was tortured to death on March 9, 2002. After her death, an autopsy disclosed a puncture mark at her collarbone and punctures covered her breasts, apparently the result of being stabbed with a sharp object. Moreover, her back had purple and red bruises.
