By a practitioner in Indonesia

(Clearwisdom.net) In Solo, Indonesia, there is a textile factory with about 200 workers who have been practicing Falun Gong since 2001. They exercise together and read Falun Gong book every workday in the morning. According to one of the practitioners there, before practicing Falun Gong, many workers took medicines like candy, often taking medicines 2 or 3 times a day. After 3 months of practicing Falun Gong, the workers had much fewer illnesses. One indicator of this is that the medicine stock in the factory is lasting longer then ever before. There is a new atmosphere throughout the factory. The environment has become cleaner. Some of the employees have even stopped smoking. The whole factory's productivity has improved significantly.

Kidney stone disappears after I practiced Falun Gong

One factory worker said, "I formerly had a hot temper. After practicing Falun Gong, I always remember the principles of Truth, Compassion, Forbearance in my everyday work and life. My inner heart has become peaceful and enriched. My family is surprised at my change."

Some employees have experienced significant changes. One worker said, "I had a kidney stone. After two years of practicing Falun Gong, I no longer had to take medicine. My doctor was very surprised because he did not find the stone anymore. I can even drive by myself at night."

The employees learned about Falun Gong for the first time from the director of the factory, who watched TV reports about the April 25, 1999 appeal outside Zhongnanhai in Beijing (1). He then went to a local bookstore to find Falun Gong book and related information. After studying, he decided to practice Falun Gong. Later he introduced Falun Gong to all the employees, after proving to himself that Falun Gong is good.

Some workers who practiced the Falun Gong exercise and realized the benefits of the practice taught the exercise to their families at the villages they came from. Therefore, in many villages in Solo, groups of Falun Gong exercise sites were started up. In some practice sites, dozens of people practice the Falun Gong exercises together each night. Their ages range from several years old to the elderly. After practicing the exercises, they often share cultivation experiences with each other. They have all benefited from the exercise, and Falun Gong is very popular in this region.

(1) April 25, 1999: on this date ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners peacefully gathered outside the Zhongnanhai compound (China's central government building) and successfully appealed for the release of forty-five practitioners who had been illegally arrested in Tianjin City.
