1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Police Officers from the First Branch of the Changchun National Security Force Destroy a Falun Dafa Materials Production Site

In April 2004, police discovered a materials production site and two practitioners were arrested. Ms. Li Jinzhang, a 62-year-old teacher, was one of them. She was tortured cruelly during interrogation. One of the methods used was the Tiger Bench. Under torture she revealed the names of Huang Jinxia and Duan Xiaoming to the police. Police Director Wang from the first branch of the Changchun National Security Force tortured the two practitioners at a secret location at Jinyuetan. The tortures included the Tiger Bench, arm-twisting, suffocating with plastic bags, hanging up with arms handcuffed, etc. The tortures that Liu Jin and Zou Jihua suffered were extremely inhuman. Zou Jihua's clothes were torn to shreds during the beating.

2. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xiao Zhilin Close to Death Due to Torture

Mr. Xiao Zhilin is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Suining City. In November 2003, he was arrested and taken to the Chengbei Brainwashing Center, where he was tortured. After being sent home, he continued to grow weaker daily. He is currently in critical condition. He cannot take care of himself and cannot recognize people.

3. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Terms of Three Female Practitioners Extended for One Month

On September 9, 2004, Wang Xiurong and other police officers at the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp extended practitioners Ms. Yang Lijuan, Ms. Ma Xiaohua, and Ms. Su Yanhua's terms for one month. Yang Lijuan was found reading Teacher's articles in the workshop. Therefore, police officer Wang Xiurong beat her and extended her term for an extra month immediately. Just because Ms. Lu Zhongfeng said, "Falun Dafa is good," she was hauled from the workshop to the front building. By the time Ms. Lu reached the third floor, her eyes were bruised and her face was badly swollen. Ms. Lu was locked up in a stockroom on the third floor and is not allowed contact with other practitioners.

4. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Wang Jian Arrested in Zhuhai City and Taken Back to His Hometown

Mr. Wang Jian's hometown is Taicang in Suzhou City. On September 6, 2004, he was arrested in Taicang. He was able to escape two days later and has become homeless in order to avoid arrest. Recently, he was arrested in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province and was sent back to Taicang. After his family heard of Wang Jian's arrest, they sent him some clothing, but police officers did not turn them over to him. Wang has only the summer clothes he wore at his arrest.

5. [Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Qiao Guangqing Sent to a Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Qiao Guangqing is the deputy director of the Office of the Disabled Association of Huadu District, and formerly an officer of the Jieyang City Military Department. He was arrested in late September when distributing truth-clarifying materials. He has been sentenced to one year and nine months in forced labor camp, and was sent to the Guangzhou City's First Labor Camp, located at Chini, Huadu. Mr. Qiao went to Beijing to appeal in 1999. He moved to Huadu in 2000. At the end of 2000, he was arrested and detained at the Huadu Drug Rehabilitation Detention Center and the Guangzhou Legal School for 11 months.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp

On September 23, 2004 at the Third Brigade in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, the brigade head Shen Minglian discovered Ms. Wu Guichun transcribing a Falun Dafa article at night. Shen took away the article. The following morning, the third brigade head Xi Guirong tried to discover from Wu Guichun where she got the article. Wu refused to tell. Shen Minglian shocked her with an electric baton. Wu sent righteous thoughts and the electric baton suddenly stopped working.

On September 29, Ms. Wang Yanyu was a new arrival at the labor camp. In the afternoon, police officers Jin Lihua, Xi Guirong, and Shen Minglian shocked her with electric batons. They were trying to force her to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa.

On October 11, because Ms. Wang Limei refused to write a "Guarantee Statement" to renounce Falun Dafa, police officers Jin Lihua, Du Juan, Zang Li, Liu Hui and Shen Minglian bound her to a bed, taped her mouth, beat her with bamboo plates and shocked her with electric batons. Later she was injected with unknown drugs at the clinic. Ms. Wang was tortured on October 11 and 12.

The camp forced practitioners to work for 11 hours a day. Police officers continuously yelled and cursed at the practitioners.

The third brigade makes clothes for puppets, on contract work from the Yilian Handicrafts Factory in Changchun City. It's rumored that the products are being exported.

7. [Anguo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhen Jinfu and His Wife Niu Shengcai Arrested

On November 6, 2004, at around 6 p.m., a large group of police officers from the Anguo City Public Security Bureau and the "610 Office" came in several police cars to Mr. Zhen Jinfu's home. They ransacked the home and arrested Mr. Zhen and his wife.

In 2000, the public security bureau and the "610 Office" harassed and threatened Mr. Zhen and wife many times. To escape the relentless harassment, they had to abandon their home. They have been homeless for around four years now.

8. [Duyun, Guizhou Province] Ms. Li Qing and Ms. Xiao Wei Become Homeless

Li Qing and Xiao Wei distributed Falun Dafa truth-clarifying flyers in the Balang in Daping Township. Someone reported them to the police. On the morning of September 30, 2004, Bai, the head of the Daping Township Police Station and two police officers ransacked Li Qing's home and found many Falun Dafa related materials. They arrested Li Qing and interrogated her in an effort to discover the source of the materials.

At 5 p.m., Li Qing's mother picked her up at the police station after signing for her release. Police asked Li Qing to report to the police station on October 8. It was reported that the two practitioners have left home to avoid the persecution.

9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] The Gaoyang County Forced Labor Camp Guards Cruelly Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners

Guards at the Women's Brigade at the Gaoyang County Forced Labor Camp, in an effort to have practitioners renounce their belief in Falun Dafa, shocked practitioners with electric batons or buried their bodies in the ground. Officers forced practitioners to stand in the cold outdoors in the winter or remain standing for a very long time. Other torture methods included stabbing practitioners with needles and punching and kicking them.

On August 11, 2004, officers beat practitioner Mr. Cai Baozhu brutally. He was injured so severely that he could no longer be recognized. Mr. Dong Liyuan was beaten until he passed out. Then police officers poured water on him and shocked him with electric batons. Mr. Liu Chunfu and Wang Lifeng were also beaten until they were on the brink of death.

10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Xun Yuangui and Ms. Zhen Fengrui Arrested

Mr. Xun met a man who supposedly practiced Falun Dafa some time ago. This man asked him for truth-clarifying materials. That man reported Mr. Xun to the police immediately after receiving the materials.

The next day, about 20 police officers surrounded Xun's home and arrested him. When asked for the source of the materials, Xun told them that he received the materials from a young man. Three days later, Xun was released. Police called on him daily to find out if he had found that young man. On October 4, the police officers arrested Mr. Xun again after they were unsuccessful in trying to find the young man through Xun.

Ms. Zhen Fengru is about 55 years old. On the evening of October 26, police officers arrested her at her home and sent her to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center in Lanzhou City. Another practitioner Zhu, who was at her home, was also arrested.

11. [Jurong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Lin Guanghu and Ms. Zhang Xiuhong Arrested by Undercover Police Officers

On October 30, 2004, undercover police officers arrested Ms. Lin Guanghu and Ms. Zhang Xiuhong when they were delivering truth-clarifying materials.

12. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Aihong Arrested

Ms. Wang is about 30 years old and lives outside the Jianguomen in Chaoyang District. She displayed a "Falun Dafa is Good" banner at Tiananmen Square and was arrested and detained for one month. In March 2004, she was arrested again at her home.

13. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yajie Arrested

Mr. Wang works at the Fushun City Communist Party School. He was reported when clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to people. On October 15, 2004, security officers from the Hedong Street Party School in Shuncheng District arrested him and searched his home. It's unknown where he is detained.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Facts of the Persecution of Ms. He Yigui

Ms. He is a 62-year-old retired senior engineer from the Southwest Physics Research Institute.

Currently she is detained in the Jinhua Brainwashing Center located at the No.66 Caojin Street at Jinhua Township, Wuhou District. Liu Xiaokang, the former head of the Jiangxi Street Police Station, sent away Ms. He's family who came to visit her.

Jiang Lin, the local 610 Office head and an officer in the Yulin Street Office, conspired with Huang Xin, the head of the Yulin Police station. They made a copy of the video CD that they found on Ms. He and made many copies of other materials to frame Ms. He.

Since Ye was not at home, they arrested Ye's friend who happened to be there, searched Ye's home, and took away Falun Dafa books and other materials. They also threatened Ye's family many times. Mr. Ye is now homeless.

17. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Yanfei Arrested Again

On October 7, 2004, Ms. Lu Yanfei was arrested at Baique Temple. In the detention center, she was beaten up and her ribs were broken. Ms. Lu went on a hunger strike to protest the torture. She was released about ten days later.

However, at about 10 a.m. on November 3, 2004, police officers from the Suining City Police Brigade and the 610 Office broke into Lu's home and arrested her again. Her whereabouts are unknown.
