(Clearwisdom.net) Jin Huili, a Falun Gong practitioner from the Chuanying District of Jilin City, was persecuted repeatedly over the past few years. On Jan. 4, 2004, after long-term police hounding that forced her away from home, Ms. Jin was found dead at a relative's home.

Jin Huili, 62, lived at Apartment 34, Unit 2, Building 2 at Beishan South Neighborhood in Chuangying District, Jilin City. She was employed by the Chuangying District Material Recycling Company. Before practicing Falun Gong, she suffered from severe tracheitis, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. In June 1996, she started to practice Falun Gong, and soon, all her diseases were gone. Ms. Jin was a kind person who was happy to help others. People knew she was a good person who practiced Falun Gong.

On July 20, 1999, Jin Huili's daughter, Zhao Yingjie, (also a Falun Gong practitioner) went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. After that, officials from the Chuanying District Propaganda Department, Desheng Street and police officer Ma Xukun from the Desheng Police Station came to their house several times to harass them. They tried to send Ms. Zhao to a brainwashing class. Ms. Jin strongly resisted their intention and the police failed to make an arrest. Despite that, Ma Xukun did not give up and kept coming to harass them. Her family members, who do not practice Falun Gong, were also harassed by the police.

In October 1999, Jin Huili herself went to Beijing to appeal. She was arrested and sent back to Jilin City by staff from Jilin liaison office in Beijing. Later Policeman Ma Xukun sent her to the Jilin City Detention Center for 15 days. Following her visit to Beijing, Ms. Zhao was detained twice, in September and December, by police officer Ma. She was later sent to the labor camp to serve one year of forced labor. During Ms. Zhao's detention, Ma often called Jin Huili's house to harass her.

In April and May 2004, Ma illegally broke into Jin Huili's home. He arrested another Dafa practitioner, Liu Guixia, who was visiting Ms. Jin, and sent her to the Desheng Police Station. The next day, police released Ms. Liu because they failed to provide any evidence to justify the arrest. Several days later, Ma intruded into Jin Huili's home again and confiscated some Falun Dafa books, videotapes and a recorder. He also took Ms. Jin to the city detention center. At the time, her blood pressure was very high, and the detention center did not want to take her. After Ma's repeated pressuring, they finally agreed to detain Ms. Jin for 10 days. Ma Xukun even forced her to pay for the taxi fare to the detention center.

After Jin Huili returned home, Ma still did not give up. He kept hounding the mother and daughter, eventually forcing them to leave home and go into hiding. During the past few years, Ma frequently called Ms. Jin's relatives to harass them. In July 2004 alone, he made two phone calls to harass Ms. Jin's sister and her family, disrupting their normal life.

On Sept. 16, 2003, Ms. Jin, Ms. Zhao and a fellow practitioner were at a relative's home. At 10 p.m., police officer Sun Zhuang from the Jilin City 610 Office and security branch, Liu Guoping from the Changyi Station security branch, Tang Aijun and Guo Qiang from the Yunheli Police Station and several other policemen broke into their room. They handcuffed Ms. Zhao and a fellow practitioner and pinned them to the floor, then they began to search the home. Ms. Jin was in her underwear, and was severely traumatized. Before they left, the police warned her not to tell anyone, threatening her. They also took the telephone from the home.

After this incident, Ms. Jin became very disturbed. Because she did not have an environment that allowed her to read Dafa books and do the exercises, her old diseases all came back. On Jan. 4, 2004, Ms. Jin died in a relative's home. No family members were at her side at the time.
