Practitioner Mr. Xie Wenping from Dingxing County, Hebei Province is Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xie Wenping of Dingxing County has died as a result of police brutality.

Mr. Xie was an employee of Dingxing County Glass Tube Factory in the Baoding Area, Hebei province, and he lived in the County Livestock Bureau. In 2002, the police abducted Mr. Xie from his home and sent him to the Liyuzhuang Township Brainwashing Center, where he was inhumanly tortured. His family was not informed until his life was in danger. Mr. Xie died soon after returning home.

Before Mr. Xie's death, about 90 Falun Gong practitioners in Hebei province had already died as a result of the persecution in the past four years. This figure ranks Hebei fifth out of all Chinese provinces in total deaths resulting from the persecution. The ages of victims in Hebei range from 23. (Ms. Yang Mei of Cangzhou) to 68 (Mr. Zhou Zhenjie of Handan)
