My name is Zou Jiling, from Zhuanghe City in Liaoning Province. My family has greatly benefited from the practice of Falun Gong. On May 14, 2003, I was abducted to the Xingda Police Subdivision for interrogation. Although I managed to escape, they sent out an arrest warrant for me through the Internet, and my wife and daughter were forced to become homeless. On September 20, 2003, police from the Xinhua Police Subdivision abducted my wife Jiang Xiuying while she was distributing truth materials. She was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.

My mother Liu Xiuxia is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jinzhou City in Liaoning Province. She has been persecuted for practicing Falun Gong since July 20, 1999, and we have since lost the peace and the security of our home. In March of 2001, we were forced to leave home. My mother was abducted at her brother's home on December 21, 2003. On January 19, 2004 she was sent to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labour Camp for one year without any legal proceedings. They also did not notify any of her family members that she was being sent away.

On January 19, 2004 (December 28 of the Lunar calendar), Ms. Yu Jingxia, a Falun Dafa practitioner who has been on the run for two years, was abducted by the Xinhua Police Subdivision of Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province. It is said that she is now being held at the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.

Not too long ago, police from the Houchun Township abducted Ms Ma Xiuyuan and Ms Zhang Hongyun from the Houchun Township in Quzhou County, Handan City. Ma Xiuyuan was held at the Quzhou County Detention Center, until she walked out with righteous thoughts. Ms Zhang Hongyuan was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp for further persecution.

Police from Quzhou County sentenced Ms. Li Baoyue from Quzhou County to two years at a forced labour camp for the second time. When she had her physical check up at the No. 4 Brigade in Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp, they found her to have high blood pressure and refused to admit her. The police then took her to Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp, No. 5 Brigade, to persecute her further.

My name is Yang Guizhen. Since I have learned Falun Gong, my numerous chronic illnesses have disappeared. In the past few years since July 20, 1999, I have been illegally detained several times and abducted three times for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. In January 19, 2001, I was sentenced to three years of force labour and sent to the Shibalihe Forced Labour Camp in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. During my time there, I have been subjected to brutal tortures such as Tying the Ropes [The police tie up the practitioner with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then the police would use all the force they could muster to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, and makes it more and more difficult for him to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. There are instances when the rope was tightened enough to break a practitioner's arm]. Due to the daily 12 hours of hard labour, I have lost a lot of weight and have become aged many years beyond my real age. Since July 2002 I have started to feel dizzy, often with fevers and difficulty in breathing. At the center they diagnosed me with pernicious anemia. Out of fear that I might have died there. They released me from the camp on July 6, 2003.
