Dengta City Court Sentences Mr. Gao Hui to Ten Years in Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 16, 2002 the Law Court of Dengta City, Liaoning Province staged a trial for Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Gao Hui, whose pseudonym is Li Jun, and unlawfully sentenced him to ten years in jail because of his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

Gao Hui was framed by Zhen Youli, the security director in Beiqing Village, Liule Town. Zhen Youli found a false witness from nearby Xiaoyuzhong to testify in court. This man said that Gao Hui distributed materials that clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong and the court illegally sentenced Gao Hui to seven years in jail. In his defense, Gao Hui tried to say that the court did not have any evidence or facts. The court would not allow him to speak and claimed he was acting in contempt of the court, so they added three more years to his sentence. Thus, a steadfast practitioner was illegally sentenced to prison for 10 years.
