Los Angeles Falun Gong Practitioners Protest Persecution in Front of Chinese Consulate (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) From 12pm to 2pm on February 13, Los Angeles Falun Gong practitioners came to Chinese Consulate to protest the Jiang group's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners strongly requested the Chinese government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and bring Jiang Zemin and other murderers to justice.

According to Falun Gong practitioner and PhD student of University of California at Los Angeles Ms. Xinling Xie, Jiang's group launched another large-scale round-up of Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, many Falun Gong practitioners have been seized and tortured. For example, police in Anda City, Heilongjiang province recently have abducted more than 40 Falun Gong practitioners. Furthermore, we have learned that many Falun Gong practitioners have been recently killed by the persecution, including Peng Guangjun of Beijing, Na Changjian and Song Gang of Heilongjiang, Liu Ming and Wang Xidong of Liaoning, and Song Shijie of Jilin. When checking Peng Guangjun's body, it was found that his head and body were littered deep bruises and injuries with dried blood, his face had scars burned by electric batons, and his limbs were broken. In the past 3 months, as confirmed by Falun Dafa Information Center, 64 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of the persecution. The death toll has sharply increased to 884.

Los Angeles practitioners strongly request the Chinese government to bring the following individuals to justice:

Jiang Zemin: Chairman of Communist Party Military Committee, Former Secretary General of Communist Party's Central Committee, Former President of China

Luo Gan: Member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau of Communist Party, Secretary of Political and Legal Committee of Communist Party

Liu Jing: Deputy Minister of Public Security Department, Deputy Director of "610 Office"

Zhou Yongkang: Minister of Public Security Department

They are the main perpetrators of the persecution and gave orders to local officials to escalate the persecution against practitioners.

At the same time, practitioners also called on all kind-hearted people from all walks of life to help expose and stop the crimes against practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioner and PhD student of University of Southern California Ke Ye gave a speech at the rally. He said that before the Jiang regime started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, in 7 years (from 1992 to 1999) people witnessed that Falun Gong had brought tens of millions people better health and elevated morality; since Jiang started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, the peaceful and rational activities of Falun Gong practitioners in the past four and a half years have won more and more people's sympathy and respect. Outside China, Falun Gong has spread to more than 60 countries and received numerous proclamations and awards. All of these facts have caused the lies of Jiang and his followers to collapse. Several days ago, the Ontario Superior Court in Canada found Pan Xinchun, the Chinese Deputy Consul General in Toronto, guilty of libel against a local Falun Gong practitioner. This is a clear sign that spreading lies and instigating hatred against Falun Gong won't be tolerated by mainstream society.

Ke Ye said that it was Jiang Zemin who launched the persecution without agreement from many other government officials. Today, people who have learned the truth are increasingly placing themselves against the persecution. He said that practitioners still hope that Chinese officials, including diplomatic officials, will act according to their conscience and go against the persecution against Falun Gong, establishing a good account of their lives. Otherwise, everyone involved will be held accountable by both Heaven's laws and human law. He called on governmental officials at all to use their courage and wisdom to help stop this persecution against Falun Gong practitioners.
