Cases of Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net)

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

1. Head of the Nanming Area Detention Center in Guizhou Province Dies in Car Accident after Persecuting Dafa Practitioners for a Long Time

Deng Yong, male, 42 years old, was the head of the Nanming Area Detention Center in the Guizhou Province. He had persecuted Dafa practitioners for a long time. Deng died in a car accident around 6 pm on January 18, 2004. He was sent to hospital but could not be saved because his internal organs were too severely damaged.

2. Zhong Wenfu, Who Lived in Renlichang in Suining City, Persecuted Dafa Practitioners and Died in Car Accident

On December 15, 2001, Zhong Wenfu, Yang Chao, Tan Hualun along with two to three other people, detained thirteen Dafa practitioners in Lanjiang Town for four days and five nights, and did not allow them to sleep. The practitioners were given watery rice soup and salted vegetables to eat every day. A member of Zhong's family cooked food, and charged each practitioner 50 yuan per day for living costs. They tried to force the practitioners to badmouth Teacher and Dafa. In addition to 50 yuan [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China] for the food, each practitioner was charged 5,000 yuan, totaling 70,000 yuan.

In November 2003, Zhong Wenfu had a car accident in Sanjia Town, Suining City. He died in the accident, and was only 41 years old.

3. Hu Xinggui, a policeman at Chengxi Police Station, Suining City, Sichuan Province, died of cancer

Hu Xinggui followed Jiang's regime and persecuted Dafa practitioners and their family members brutally. Hu died of cancer in August 2003.
