A Vivid Lesson - Telling the Real Story to School Teachers

(Clearwisdom.net) I had the same feeling when I read the article in Clearwisdom.net written by my fellow practitioners about urgently clarifying the truth to the schoolteachers. Jiang not only manipulates all propaganda and media to frame and slander Falun Gong, but also has ordered shameless lies to defame Falun Gong be published in the textbooks for middle-school and Grade 5 students, deceiving innocent children. It is very urgent to clarify the truth to schoolteachers in order to save those children.

We should not only speak to the teachers, but also talk to the staff in all educational areas such as the principals, school boards, education boards, textbook publishing companies, etc. We should give them convincing, profound, and high-quality materials about the facts of the persecution, which will expose the lies like the so-called self-immolation in Tiananmen Square, plus the important incidents such as the global lawsuits against Jiang Zemin and the fact that Falun Dafa has spread all over the world. Once they know about the truth of Falun Gong they will become clear about the essence of this persecution, and they could then be relieved from the suffocating mental control imposed by Jiang and his followers.

Here I'd like to tell fellow practitioners a touching story after I clarified the truth to schoolteachers. I had a relative who is a young middle-school political science teacher. I intended to explain the facts about Dafa and the persecution, so one day I brought some materials over to him. I knew from him that the current semester's textbooks contained words speaking against Falun Gong. I asked about his opinions of those contents. He answered that he would teach according to what was in the books. I told him it couldn't be done this way, because it would harm the students, as well as himself. I then told him the purpose of my visit and told him about Falun Gong. He asked me some questions. I took the chance to break through his misconceptions concerning the principles of Falun Gong- "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance"- noting that Falun Gong practitioners are supposed to follow these principles in their daily lives. I also exposed the vicious lies, especially about the so-called self-immolation incident in Tiananmen Square. I told him that the incident was entirely fabricated and was absolutely not the behavior of Falun Gong practitioners. I then raised a few questions for him to think about. I left the materials with him. I also left him a book, Monumental Lies, which exposes some of Jiang's lies, to let him know the facts of the persecution better.

Around one month later, I met with him and he excitedly told me a story. He said that since I explained the facts about Falun Gong to him, he read the materials that I left with him. He now understood that Falun Gong is indeed good and teaches people to be kind, and that Jiang is really evil. When he had to teach the class about Falun Gong last Monday, he thought that since he knew the facts about Falun Gong, he shouldn't teach according to the textbook. He thought about it ahead of time and wondered how to explain the facts to the students wisely, but was still afraid of being punished by the school leaders. He felt very puzzled. However, when the class bell rang, he hesitated and only said a few words. At that time, a student raised his hand and asked a question. The teacher asked him to stand up. Then the student said that what they were told in the textbook was totally false and asked permission to explain the facts about Falun Gong to the class. The teacher was shocked and pretended to know nothing, and asked, "What are the facts? You may let us know." That student spoke for the rest of the class, and the others listened to him quietly and intently. Finally the teacher said to me, "Falun Gong is so wonderful. Even a child of just over 10 years of age knows such profound things."

Upon hearing this, I felt very happy and inspired. It was good fortune that there was a young Falun Dafa practitioner in that class. Our Teacher's compassion is so tremendous and the Fa's power is endless. I am awed by Teacher's using this special chance to give a vivid lesson to the whole class through the words of a young practitioner. The more than sixty children who had been deceived by the vicious lies for several years came to hear the clear voice of truth.
