A Government Official in China Acts Righteously: Resists Orders From the "610 Office" to Persecute Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) A government official in northern China in charge of monitoring Falun Gong practitioners was deceived by the lies of Jiang's regime. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he was hostile toward Dafa and refused to read truth clarification material. He did not believe the serious and devastating persecution that Dafa and Dafa practitioners suffered. He continuously participated in persecuting Dafa and Dafa disciples.

At the end of 2001 one particular Dafa disciple had suffered from all kinds of brutal tortures in Heizuizi Labor Camp, Changchun City, Jilin Province, but still persisted in practicing cultivation, and finally walked out of the labor camp with righteous thoughts. Within all of her tribulations, she was able to find this official and clarified the truth to him several times. At the beginning, he did not listen to her at all. The disciple still continued to clarify the truth to him and showed him the scars that stayed behind from when she was brutally persecuted by police in the labor camp.

This official was shocked by the facts that were clarified to him. The practitioner clarified the truth to him with deep, heartfelt conviction. He grew very angry and said to the practitioner, "If there are people persecuting you again, I will protect you."

Not long ago, the local Dafa disciples hung a large number of posters and distributed a lot of truth-clarification materials within the area. The city's "610 Office"* personnel met with this official three times to discuss investigating the situation and the removal of the Dafa materials as soon as possible. As each meeting passed, he resisted their accusations justly and told the "610 Office" personnel that Dafa disciples are all good people, and that Dafa and Dafa disciples have all been framed.

When the "610 Office" personnel forced him to handle this matter the way they wished it to be handled during their third meeting, he firmly resisted once again, and said, "Do you say that what Dafa disciples did is wrong? If you must investigate the responsibility, then investigate me, as these are all things I have done." The "610 Office" personnel had to give up.

* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
