Practitioner Ms. Sun Yuhua on the Verge of Death: Hulan County, Heilongjiang Province


(Clearwisdom.net) At about 2 p.m. on January 14, 2004, practitioner Sun Yuhua, was brutally abducted from the yard of her home in the Hasan electricity plant third company residential quarters. Sun Yuhua was taken to the Hulan county police department by the chief of the political security team, Chen Zhaolin, as well as by Wang Keda, Xu Hanbin, Yan Tinghui, Xu Xingwu and others (as reported by Minghui.net on January 18, 2004).

Sun Yuhua was brutally beaten, and tortured. Succumbing to the torture, she signed a confession forced on her by officers Wang Keda, Xu Hanbin, Xu Xingwu and others. On the evening of the same day, her daughter, Zhang Hui, who is an 18-year-old student at Hulan college, Harbin Normal University, was also taken to the Hulan county police department, and subsequently sent to Harbin. Being sent back and forth between Hulan and Harbin, she was interrogated and confessions were extorted from her by torture over four days. On January 18, 2004 she was detained in room 601 of the 1st unit in Harbin's 2nd detention center.

In the meantime, Chen Zhaolin, Wang Keda and unnamed others from the political security team of the Hulan county police department illegally searched Sun Yuhua's house and confiscated her property. Nobody was at home because Sun Yuhua's husband, Zhang Qingsheng, also a Dafa practitioner, had been taken to the Hulan county 1st detention center in November 2003 while he was clarifying the truth about Dafa. They made off with valuables in the house like a computer, printer, laminator, CDs, etc.

Dafa practitioner Sun Yuhua, has currently been transferred from the 2nd to the 1st detention center in the Hulan county police department. From the day she was abducted to today (February 8, 2004), Sun Yuhua has been on a hunger strike to protest her illegal torment. At present, she is on the verge of death.

It is our hope, that all Dafa practitioners will together deny the persecution with their righteous thoughts. We appeal to all the kind-hearted people around the world to pay attention to her situation.
