Germany: Practitioners in Hamburg Appeal at the Chinese Consulate, Call for Jiang to Be Brought to Justice (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 16, 2004, German practitioners from Hamburg and nearby cities once again gathered at the Hamburg Chinese Consulate to appeal to the Chinese Government to bring Jiang Zemin, the prime culprit of the persecution of Falun Gong, to justice. They also appealed for an immediate end to the Jiang faction's persecution of Falun Gong, which has lasted for over four years.

Recently, the number of Falun Gong practitioners arrested and killed in China has sharply increased. Within the first two weeks of February alone, the terrible news from China is that fifteen Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death.

On February 3, the Falun Dafa Information Centre reported that two sixty-year-old people were tortured to death in 2001 and 2002 by the local police of Shandong and Gansu provinces, because they refused to give up practicing Falun Gong.

Female Falun Gong practitioner Ruixue Guo, over sixty years old, was a farmer from East South Street Village of Anqiu City, Shandong Province. She was arrested by officers of the Public Security Bureau of Anqiu City while distributing Falun Gong materials. Ruixue Guo has been subjected to various forms of cruel torture in a labor camp: her whole body was electrically shocked with an electric baton, her hands and face became covered with blisters due to the electric shocks and she lost control of her bladder. She suffered the labor camp released her when she was near death. Two or three months after Ruixue Guo was released from the labor camp, she died in the People's Hospital of Anqiu City in summer 2001.

According to Gansu news, Falun Gong practitioner Youqing Zhang, male, was born in 1944 and lived in Sanyuan Street, Wuyi Area, Nanan Village of Longxi County in Gansu province. He was killed a year ago. On the January 25 2002, police arrested Youqing Zhang and his wife from their home and took them to Longxi County Labor Camp. In September 2002, when the police took him to be interrogated, they beat him until his face became pale and he could not stand. The beating caused Youqing Zhang to lose long-term control of his bladder, so the labor camp transferred him to a detention centre. On November 1, the detention centre told his family members to come and get him. At that time, Youqing Zhang had not been able to get out of his bed for a long period, and his body was just skin and bones. Three days later, Youqing Zhang died.

A Falun Gong practitioner from Hamburg said, "We have persevered in appealing at the Chinese Consulate for about three years. The purpose of this is to pass information to the Chinese Government: Stop persecuting Falun Gong immediately and Bring Jiang to Justice. Today we came here to support the global appeal for punishing the criminals who persecute Falun Gong with Jiang as their leader."

Hamburg practitioners expressed their wishes that the Chinese Government and more and more Chinese people can find out the truth behind Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong and stop this outrage from continuing. When talking about the people who visit the Chinese consulate, the practitioner said, "The Chinese people's attitude towards us has become much better than it was three years ago; many people smile at us when they see us. Some people specially come to the Chinese Consulate to say hello to us."

Through the unremitting efforts to clarify the truth by Falun Gong practitioners all over the world, more and more people will realize the crime of genocide Jiang has committed against Falun Gong. The day of bringing Jiang and his followers to justice will come soon.
