(Clearwisdom.net) On January 23 and 25, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners
from many nations held two grand parades in Paris. While people celebrated the
Chinese New Year, practitioners displayed the beauty and purity of Falun Gong
through elegant traditional dance performances.
Paris residents and tourists from other regions of France and other nations
said that these parades were very successful. They think that these parades are
much different from the parades that were organized by governments [The Chinese
and French governments organized another Chinese New Year parade and Falun Gong
was excluded from that parade because of pressure from Chinese authorities],
which had so many police and security officials that spectators could not get
very close to the procession.
Many people thanked Falun Gong practitioners for providing them with such a
wonderful performance and said that they will continue to support Falun Gong and
request China to stop the persecution of Falun Dafa.
