Helping More People Learn the Truth About Falun Gong -- Clarifying the truth at Chinese New Year Celebrations in Sacramento, California (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Jan. 31 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sacramento participated in the 7^th Annual Chinese New Year Celebration organized by California State University.

A lot of people attended the event. The exhibition hall was full of people. From morning to afternoon, the stream of crowds never stopped. In only one day, many truth-clarification flyers and CDs were passed to the visitors. The practitioners regretted that they hadn't brought more materials.

Here are some stories the practitioners wanted to share with you.

The TV on our table was playing Teacher's exercises teaching video all the time. Almost every child passed our table stopped to watch the TV. Some of them came back again after a while. Even when we were rewinding the tape, they would look at the Falun Symbol curiously.

A group of high school students were dining in the cafeteria. When a practitioner walked by, they whooped to him. He turned to the group inquiringly. One of the girls pointed to his badge on the chest and said, "We like your badge. It is good." The badge printed, "China: Stop persecuting Falun Gong."

An old woman from Mainland China came to our table and talked to us excitedly. She said she continued to practice Falun Dafa for 6 or 7 years no matter how Jiang's regime persecuted Falun Gong in China. She came to visit her children in America and was very happy to meet practitioners here. Before she left, she wanted us to guess her age. She looked like in 60's but she said she was already 80 years old.

Two mid-aged women came to our booth. A practitioner greeted them and offered them some truth-clarification material. The practitioner asked where they were from and if they knew Falun Gong. They were businesswomen from China and they were very open. They said they never believed Jiang Regime's anti-Falun Gong propaganda. One of them looked at the practitioner's Falun badge enviously and said, "I really like your Falun symbol. It is beautiful!"

One older woman from Mainland China who was visiting a relative in America walked back and forth in front of our booth for a long time. She quietly listened to the introductions of Falun Dafa's popularity in the world. She took each of our materials. In the end, she asked, "Do you have any more Chinese materials?" We gave her a booklet "Remember That July".

There are more stories than we can tell here. When we took a rest or were a little negligent, we felt uneasy because the people would pass by in front of us. But the people who passed by would come back to accept our materials and thank us in smiles. People are waiting for the truth.
