Solemn Declaration

On February 15 I went to mainland China. When I was passing the Shenzhen customs, my Dafa materials in my handbag were discovered and I was taken to the anti-smuggling department of the immigration authorities. They confiscated my ID card and all the Dafa books and material. Later three plain clothed police from the National Security Department took me to the boarding house of the National Safety Bureau and interrogated me. Now I declare that all the words I said during interrogation and all the documents I wrote to give up my faith during my detention are invalid. I went against Dafa and now I regret the mistake I have made. From now on I will cultivate diligently and cherish everything that Dafa gives me. I will try to make up the losses that I have caused.

Solemn Declaration

I obtained the Fa in 1997. My health and moral standard improved greatly since I began practicing Dafa. After Jiang's regime started persecuting Dafa in July 1999, I was illegally arrested on February 27, 2000, while sharing experience with fellow pracititioners at my home, and detained for one month. My wife was detained for half a month. We each were forced to pay a fine of 1,000 Yuan. In addition, we were forced to denouce Dafa in written form before we were finally released. Since that day on, we have been constantly harassed by the village "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) and security office. In early December of 2000, on the way to Beijing to validate Dada with other practitioners, I was arrested at my sister's home. They handcuffed me and beat me up. Later they transferred me to the local security office where I was insulted. On that night, we were sent to the detention center and detained there for half a month. After being released, I was told I had to report to the security office every day and do manual work for them such as sweeping the floor and boiling water etc. Later I was transferred to the village governemnt's brainwashing class. I was harassed for over a month during which my family worried about me and no one did the farm work. Now I declare that all the words I said or wrote against Dafa under pressure and torture are invalid. I will make up all the lossed I have caused.
