50-Year-old Practitioner Ms. Zhao Fengyun Suddenly Dies at the Wanjia Labor Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhao Fengyun, 50, was a technician at the precision department of Harbin City Axletree Factory in Heilongjiang Province. Because she firmly persisted in practicing Falun Gong, she was illegally arrested and sent to Wanjia Labor Camp to be tortured. At about 7:00 p.m. on February 27, 2004, she suddenly died at the labor camp. The camp authorities did not inform her family of her situation until she passed away.

Zhao Fengyun's husband Li Weiguo is also a Falun Gong practitioner. He is currently imprisoned at the Changlinzi Labor Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.

The details of Zhao's death are to be investigated.
