Taiwan: Practitioners Invited to Perform in the "Leading Musicians' Concert" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) "Coming from far away, again and again, I come for you. I come with love for you..." The pure heavenly song, "Coming for You" expressed the singers' heartfelt wishes.

On the evening of March 5, 2004, the "Tianyin Chorus," consisting of more than 40 Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners and soprano Ms. Zhang Jiahui, were invited to perform in the "Leading Musician's Concert" sponsored by "Renaissance Coalition." Their exquisite harmony moved people's hearts. The lyrics also greatly inspired the audience.

The concert was held in the classic western-style Zhongshan Hall in Taipei. The marvelous performances included piano masterpieces played by Belgian Pianist Peter Ritzen, duet "Il Trovatore" sung by soprano Ms. Zhang Jiahui and Baritone Mr. Bai Yuxi, and the unaccompanied chorus, "Coming for You" performed by the "Tianyin Chorus."

Several hundred people, including many renowned musicians, music commentators and music lovers came to enjoy the concert. All performances won thunderous applause and the audience was deeply moved. In particular, the four-fold unaccompanied chorus, "Coming for You" performed by the "Tianyin Chorus" was highly praised for its musical excellence, special meaning and the heartfelt performance by the Falun Gong practitioners.

The song "Coming for You" tells the story of the 36 western Falun Gong practitioners from 12 countries, who traveled thousands of miles to China and went to Tiananmen Square to inform the Chinese people about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. They told the precious Chinese people, "Falun Dafa is good". For this, they were beaten, arrested and deported. The song expresses their heartfelt wishes to the Chinese people.

These western Falun Gong practitioners love Chinese culture and Chinese people. When they saw that the Jiang's group manipulated the state-run media to spread lies defaming Falun Gong to all Chinese people in order to maintain and justify their persecution, they put aside their comfortable life and spent their own time and savings to go to Tiananmen Square to peacefully appeal for Falun Gong. They were willing to bear the hardship and both physical and mental torture to help the precious Chinese people and tell them that "Falun Dafa is good!" They wanted to tell the Chinese people not to be deceived by the lies. They wanted to allow the Chinese people see with their own eyes that people from different races and nationalities also practice Falun Gong. This would cause Jiang's lies to collapse on their own. Falun Gong is not suppressed in the world. On the contrary, it is spreading all over the world.

Welcomed by the continuous applause, the Tianyin Chorus directed by Mr. Peter Ritzen performed the unaccompanied chorus, "Coming for You" again for the audience and concluded the concert, which also let "Falun Dafa is good" resound in every audience member's heart.

On January 6, 2004, Tianyin Chorus was also invited to perform at the "Inaugural Chinese New Year Global Gala" held in the Taipei Sun Yat-Sen Memorial and sponsored by the New Tang Dynasty Television. They performed "Coming for You," "Heaven and Earth Celebrate Together" and "Everything is New." Their performances were highly praised.
