During last year's SARS epidemic, an official from one township went to Dafa practitioners' homes to harass the practitioners with the excuse of checking people returning home from outside. He would confiscate Teacher's photos and Dafa books. When the official got to a particular village, he asked the village chief to show him the way to a practitioner's home. The chief then questioned him seriously, "Why do you come here?" That official faltered and did not answer and eventually left with nothing. It was said that that chief got to know the truth of Dafa and understood that Falun Gong teaches people to be good and compassionate. In a temple fair at the neighboring village, a propaganda team from another village was performing a show slandering Dafa. The chief asked the electrician to cut the power and stopped the show. The chief's righteous action definitely helped him in choosing a good future.

The party chief of a village in Xipingluo, Henan Province said, "The TV said that Falun Gong is not good and that Falun Gong practitioners had a bad influence on society. But in our village, I can see that those Falun Gong practitioners were always ahead of others when paying their taxes, electric bills and water bills as well as doing other good things. I can't see any bad things about Falun Gong. If everyone is like those Falun Gong practitioners, I would not even worry if I couldn't do a good job in looking after these things."
