Police Abduct Qiannan District TV Station Editor, Ms. Huang Guixian

(Clearwisdom.net) In the evening of February 29, 2004, a group of policemen snuck into Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Guixian's house and abducted her. Ms. Huang was a TV editor in Qiannan District TV Station, Guizhou Province. Afraid of people finding out about their crime, the police blocked the residential building entrance so that no one could see what was happening.

Huang Guixian made every effort to resist the arrest. Several police officials had to struggle hard to drag her all the way downstairs and into the police van. Along the way, Huang yelled at the top of her lungs, "Falun Dafa is great!" "Falun Dafa is righteous!" and, "The police are arresting good people!" Many neighbors witnessed the event. They said, "How come the police don't make an effort to arrest criminals but always arrest good people?" Some said, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good."

Ms. Huang Guixian started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. She went to Beijing in 2000 to appeal for Dafa, in accordance with her basic rights guaranteed by China's constitution, but she was sentenced to two years of forced labor, where she endured inhuman treatment. She served her sentence in the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province. In 2002 she returned to Duyun City. Under pressure from the local police and people from the "610 Office," (1) her employer, the Qiannan District TV station, asked her to sign a "guarantee statement" to stop practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Huang Guixian refused. Her employer forced her to retire and stopped paying her a pension or any kind of salary, leaving Huang no choice but to leave Duyun. On February 29, 2004, she returned to Duyun. She was arrested again at home.
