(Clearwisdom.net) On March 20, Swiss Dafa practitioners held activities in Biel to promote Falun Gong and let people know the facts about the persecution. Biel is a city where people speak both French and German. To let more people know the truth, practitioners from German and French-speaking areas came to join in the activities.
There were many people reading our display boards. After reading, some of them took the initiative to ask for more information and signed their names on a petition to express their sympathy and support for Falun Gong.
Passers-by with an interest in Chinese culture waited in line at the calligraphy stand for signs reading "The World Needs 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'" and "Falun Dafa Is Good," written by practitioners.
The practitioners told those waiting in line the facts about Falun Gong. After hearing about the persecution and how it was instigated by China's former President Jiang Zemin, a young man from China said, "Jiang is really cruel."
Meanwhile, other practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and demonstrated
the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. The whole scene was peaceful and full of
compassion.
Local newspapers and radio stations also came to interview the practitioners.
The radio stations made a positive broadcast of Falun Gong's activities to
promote the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.
