(Clearwisdom.net) On March 13 and 14 2004, a series of activities were held celebrating the 74^th anniversary of Gukong Primary School in Yunlin County, Taiwan. Through the efforts of Falun Gong practitioner Principal Xu and other local practitioners, a Falun Gong exercise demonstration and photo exhibition were arranged. These activities won a warm response from local people.

Two years ago, Principal Xu attended a 9-day seminar of Falun Gong under his wife's encouragement. Since then he has practiced Falun Gong, and he believes that pupils can benefit from practicing Falun Gong. So a student group learning Dafa and practicing the exercise was established in Gukong Primary School. The principal invited those students in the group to the principal's office to read Dafa books and practice the exercises. During the celebration of the 74^th anniversary of the school, Principal Xu recommended Falun Gong to schoolteachers, students and local people.

A photo and drawing exhibit was held in student activity center. A banner reading "Falun Dafa Spreads to over 60 Countries in the World" was hung over the entrance. In the center, there were drawings of Falun Gong practitioner pupils, photos of their activities, and the "Journey of Falun Dafa," photo exhibit. Practitioners distributed many flyers introducing Falun Gong, truth-clarification literature, and balloons printed "Falun Dafa is Great, the World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Some parents taught children learning to speak to read the words, "Falun Dafa is Great" on the balloons. Officials from Yunlin County Department of Education acclaimed the beneficial changes in pupils after practicing Falun Gong.

Pupils in the practice group demonstrated the five-sets of exercises on stage. To help teachers and students understand Falun Gong, the principal introduced Falun Gong during the demo and shared his own experience of improvement in both mind and body after practicing Falun Gong.

In addition, the Tianyin Chorus, composed of young practitioners in the Middle District Minghui School and other Falun Gong practitioners performed dances and music. The whole activity came to a peak when the principal joined the chorus to sing the song "Coming for You". After the activity, many local people asked for information on locations to learn Falun Gong.

In Taiwan, many teachers and students benefit in both mind and body from practicing Falun Gong. At the universities, there are about 30 Falun Gong associations. However, across the strait, Jiang and his associates persecute Falun Gong. The lies and slander have poisoned countless naïve children and spread hatred in their minds. We call on teachers in mainland China to help stop the persecution and have more people know the truth of Falun Gong.
