Slovakia: Introduction of the Book Falun Gong to the Slovak Public (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Wednesday February 25 at 5:00 p.m. in the bookstore Pistek in Bratislava, local practitioners introduced the book Falun Gong to the Slovak public. After its introduction to the book-market in China, Falun Gong caused a sensation and, together with other books of the Falun Dafa cultivation practice, became one of the best-selling books in the world's most populous country.

Two reporters attended the book launch from Slovak radio and a cameraman from the nationwide television station TA3. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and introduced Falun Gong to the visitors. They also exposed the persecution of Falun Gong that has been going on in China for more than four years.

When talking about individual cases of persecution, the public's faces frown in disapproval and surprise that such brutal persecution of those who try to be good and think of others first is possible in today's world. In the discussion that followed, many people wanted to know more about Falun Gong and asked questions about things such as the health benefits that practitioners enjoy.

As we were leaving the bookstore, one of the saleswomen said, "We never had a book launch like this here before! You practitioners cleaned up and returned the tables to their correct places!"
