(Clearwisdom.net, April 9, 2004) On April 4, Falun Gong practitioners in Spain went to the city of Guadalajara to introduce Falun Gong and clarify the truth regarding Jiang's brutal persecution of Falun Gong to the local people.
In the morning, practitioners went to Concordia Park, which is located at the center of the city. It was a very nice day with no clouds in the sky, and many local residents were outdoors and walked in the park. Having sent righteous thoughts, practitioners quickly set up Falun Gong truth-clarifying photos at the entrance to the park. While some practitioners lined up to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises, others distributed fliers to passersby. Almost everyone who passed by the practice site stopped to watch and accepted Falun Gong fliers.
Having looked at the fliers or photos, many came to talk with practitioners and ask for more information about Falun Gong. The practitioners answered their questions in detail. After learning the truth, people were shocked and expressed their indignation over the brutal persecution. Many also expressed their sympathy and support for Falun Gong practitioners. Some people came to the park later to learn the Falun Gong exercises after they read the fliers taken back by their relatives at home.
During the lunch break, practitioners went to Chinese grocery stores and restaurants to clarify the truth. Though it might be the first time for people in this city to hear the facts about Falun Gong, they were very happy to see Falun Gong practitioners and thanked us for bring them the materials.
In one Chinese restaurant, a young college student who worked there part time started a conversation with practitioners. He said that he knew Falun Gong before he came to Spain, and he knew very well how Falun Gong was spreading in China and how much people love it. After Jiang launched the persecution and controlled the state-run media to spread lies to deceive people, he was also quite confused. Taking this precious opportunity, he asked practitioners many questions. Practitioners answered his questions one by one, and he eventually came to understand the truth and thanked the practitioners sincerely. The practitioners wished him a bright future and parted ways.
