Wuchang Police in Wuhan City, Hubei Province Kidnap and Rob the Innocent in Broad Daylight


(Clearwisdom.net) It was around 2:00 p.m, on March 19, 2004 when the staff of the "New Tang Dynasty Noodle Restaurant," situated in Hubu Alley, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, also known as "Wuhan Dian Sum First Alley," were saying goodbye to their remaining customers and were about to do the daily tally. Suddenly over 30 people broke into the restaurant and handcuffed and arrested Jiang Ming and two other employees -- all three being Falun Gong practitioners. For the next two hours the police from Wuchang Public Security Substation, Zhonghua Road Police Station and Wuchang District Industry and Commence Bureau told the three not to move as they ransacked the restaurant, smashing all the signs and confiscating the business license.

During the search, Jiang Ming talked with the police with kindness and reason, and he told them what they were doing violated the law, and infringed upon their rights of freedom and property ownership. At that time, the owner of the restaurant, Zhu Hanying, returned from handling supplies and was immediately grabbed and handcuffed. The police covered the heads of Jiang Ming and Zhu Hanying with black flax bags and dragged them into the car while punching and kicking them. Zhu Hanying lost one of his shoes. They videotaped the search but didn't film any of the violence. After taking away all of the restaurant's cash and trying to deceive bystanders by saying the money had been obtained illegally, they swaggered off.

The crowd of witnesses and onlookers was far from deceived, however, and they accused the police of their terrible deeds. Some were angered: "This is not following the law at all! It's kidnapping, just like what happens in the world of gangsters." Others said: "They are all good people. Kicking and beating up women who are defenseless, what kind of policemen are they?"

Around 5 o'clock that same day, the police also searched the homes of Xiao Zhou and Zhu Hanying, and robbed Zhu Hanying of over 4,000 yuan.

In the meantime, another branch of the "New Tang Dynasty Noodle Restaurant" in Changhong Middle School, which had been open for no more than a month, was also searched. Xiao Zhou and two other Falun Gong practitioners were arrested. The Yuguang Photo Shop, located next to Liangdao Street Middle School, was searched by force as well. There the police illegally arrested Yang Chen and Xiao Cao.

We are asking Dafa practitioners to help to eliminate the factors in other dimensions behind the persecution with their righteous thoughts.
