Deceived by Jiang's Fabrications, Villager Jiang Li in Heilongjiang Province Kills His Wife, Who Was a Falun Gong Practitioner


(Clearwisdom.net) On February 27, 2004, Villager Jiang Li from Bin County, Heilongjiang Province killed his wife Cao Yanfeng, because he believed the negative propaganda about her practice of Falun Gong.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cao Yanfeng (34 years old) from No.3 Dongfeng Team, Ningyuan Township, Bin County, Heilongjiang Province, her husband Jiang Li (36 years old, not a practitioner), and their 11-year-old daughter had a warm family. Before cultivating Falun Dafa, Ms. Cao had shoulder problems, lung disease, and kidney disease, and she was stooped over when she walked. Soon after she began cultivating Falun Dafa, her ailments disappeared, and her husband supported her doing the practice.

On July 20, 1999, Jiang and his regime began persecuting Falun Dafa. Seeing Falun Dafa practitioners around them being targeted for extortion, having their homes ransacked, being detained, and even tortured to death, Jiang Li was afraid that all these would befall his family. He watched his wife closely to prevent her from practicing. Cao Yanfeng was beaten by her husband many times for doing the exercises at home.

Despite this environment of persecution, with added pressure from her family, Ms. Cao still disciplined herself according to Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. She continued to treat her husband with kindness, was tolerant and clarified the truth to him, using clear reasoning. But her husband was too deeply influenced by Jiang and his regime's lies, and was compelled to beat her or curse her whenever he heard the media attacking Falun Dafa.

On February 27, 2004, at about 1:30 in the afternoon, Jiang Li was drunk after helping a friend with some work. Upon returning home, he saw his wife asleep on the bed. Jiang attacked his defenseless wife with an axe and she died on the spot. According to the autopsy, Ms. Cao was struck 14 times with an axe.

Seeing that he had killed his wife, Jiang tried to kill himself by cutting his belly open.

When his 11-year-old daughter and her friend came back home, Jiang Li threw a knife at her. Fortunately he missed, and she ran out to call for help while crying. Their neighbors came and sent Jiang Li to the hospital. Jiang Li was resuscitated in the emergency room, and is currently detained in the County No.1 Detention Center.

The villagers are all talking about this incident: Jiang Zemin only does harm to China and its people. Ruining such a good family is but one of his evil deeds. When the state-run media spreads these lies that harm people, they can only hurt themselves in the end, but the common folks are suffering the most.
