Bedridden with Incurable Uremia, a New Practitioner Learned Falun Dafa and Was Completely Well in Five Days

(Clearwisdom.net) I am 50 years old and a retired worker. My family lives on Hanzhengjie Street, Hankou City, Wuhan, Hubei Province. In November 2002, I was hospitalized for chronic kidney failure, renal anemia, and uremia. One month of hospitalization cost me more than 10,000 yuan [500 yuan is equal to the average monthly income for an urban worker in China]. Because the cost went far beyond my ability to pay, and even though my illness did not show any obvious improvement, I had to leave the hospital. After I went back home, I tried to borrow money from here and there to treat my illness. I visited the most famous uremia specialists and I had to take a medical injection every other day; each injection cost me almost 100 yuan. If I skipped any injections, I would fall completely unconscious and lie in bed practically comatose; my eyesight was vague and it felt like my eyes were covered with something. It cost me over 1,500 yuan per month for the injections and for the other Traditional Chinese Medicines I had to take. In the long run, I couldn't afford to treat my illness. Moreover, the illness is considered incurable by medical means. I clearly understood that I did not have many days left to live.

On March 12, 2003, when I was painfully despairing, a neighbor told me, "Your illness may be healed if you practice Falun Gong." When she saw me still not completely convinced, she called and invited an elderly lady in her 60s to my home. The elderly lady told me her personal experience of having her stomach cancer healed by practicing Falun Gong.

Since then, whenever I was conscious, I would pick up the book Zhuan Falun [the principal teachings of Falun Dafa] and read it slowly. When I started to read, I saw a round object spinning in the book; at that time, I did not know it was a Falun [Law Wheel]. I also saw many magnificent scenes from other dimensions. From then on, my body felt much relieved and my eyesight became clear.

On the fifth day after I started reading Zhuan Falun, I, who at one time had no ability to take care of myself, got out of my bed and washed clothes by myself. It was amazing! I did not have to spend a penny; I did not need to take one medical injection or medicine pill; with one book of black words on white paper and with five simple sets of exercise movements, my uremia, which was declared incurable by modern medicine, was healed.

If I did not have the experience myself, it would be difficult for me to believe Falun Gong's wonderful healing effect. I would probably still be deceived by the lies spread by the TV and newspapers.

Since I obtained the Fa and started to practice Falun Gong, I have not taken any medicine and have not taken any medical injection for over a year. I have persistently studied the teachings of Falun Dafa and practiced the exercises every day without interruptions. I have totally regained the health of a normal person.

Through reading the book and learning Falun Dafa, I came to realize that Falun Gong is not for treating illnesses only; Falun Gong teaches people to cultivate their mind and heart according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Tolerance," and to be good people. Falun Gong does not get involved with politics and is not against any government. Dafa practitioners hand out flyers and tell people the facts of Falun Gong so that people will not be deceived by the lies spread by the TV and newspapers; they do it so that people will have an objective and proper understanding of Falun Gong.

Please realize that if it had not been for Dafa practitioners telling me, "Falun Dafa is good!" the life of a person like me with an incurable illness may have already been snatched away by the illness and by the lies! Therefore, I will use my life, which has been extended by Falun Dafa, to tell all people, "Falun Dafa is Good!" and, "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa [Law and principles]!"
