Practitioners Forced to Wear Heavy Shackles at the Pingxiang City Second Detention Center, Jiangxi Province (Illustration)


(Clearwisdom.net) The Pingxiang City Second Detention Center in Jiangxi Province defies regulations and forcibly compels detained persons and Dafa practitioners to do manual labor every day from 5 a.m. to midnight, even to 1 or 2 a.m. If anyone does not work, he is put in shackles that weigh 15 to 30 kilograms. Liu Yuan, a doctor known for cruelty, also stamps his feet on the shackles. The shackles press on the bone, which is extremely painful, but the policemen just roar with laughter. The police also force Dafa practitioners to run while wearing the shackles. In winter, they force women practitioners to kneel on the snow-covered ground for a long time.

Dafa practitioner tortured to death at the Pingxiang City Second Detention Center

In the latter half of 2002, a Dafa practitioner from Pingxiang City was detained in the Pingxiang City Second Detention Center in Jiangxi Province. This practitioner was very steadfast and went on a hunger strike to protest his illegal arrest. The detention center force-fed him brutally, knocking out several of his teeth. He was tortured until he was close to death and then sent to a hospital, where he died soon after being admitted.
