Seven More Falun Gong Practitioners in Gansu Province Illegally Sentenced, Some to Serve as Many as Nine Years in Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, we learned that seven more practitioners at Lanzhou City, Gansu Province have been illegally sentenced to serve the following prison terms:

Mr. Xie Liuyan, 24, originally came from Anhui to attend Lanzhou University, was sentenced to a 4-year term.

Mr. Yu Youwen, 47, from Sichuan Pengzhou County, was sentenced to a 5-year term.

Mr. Niu Wanjiang, a resident of Lanzhou City, Qilihe District, was sentenced to a 3-year term.

Mr. Guo Xueze, 57, another resident of Lanzhou City, Qilihe District, was sentenced to a 5-year term.

Ms. Liu Lanying, a resident of Lanzhou City, was sentenced to a 4-year term and is now detained at Gansu Female Prison.

Mr. Jiang Chunbin, 33, a resident of Lanzhou City, Yuzhong County, was sentenced to a 9-year term and is now detained in Lanzhou Prison.

Mr. Li Fubin, 33, was sentenced to an 8-year term.

It is said that Mr. Guo Xueze, after he received a 5-year sentence, was detained at Lanzhou Prison. Currently, Mr. Guo's is experiencing swelling all over his body, and his face is distorted. His life is at risk, and he requires oxygen tanks to assist his breathing, as he is having difficulty breathing due to the torture he received.

Mr. Jiang Chunbin has also been detained in the Lanzhou Prison after receiving a 9-year prison term. In May 2002, Mr. Jiang was arrested and then detained in the Lanzhou 1^st Detention Center, the Xiguoyuan Detention Center. Due to his persistence in Dafa cultivation, Mr. Jiang was tortured for 15 days each time during the months of September and October 2003, as well as January 2004. The torture methods used were the "Penetrating to the Front" and "Penetrating to the Back" positions, where his hands and legs were cuffed together. His body has been severely damaged by the torture. At his sentencing, Mr. Jiang was on the verge of death, and at first, the Lanzhou Prison refused to admit him, but the Detention Center police circumvented the regulations to force the prison to admit Mr. Jiang.

Sun Hongbin - Male, 33, leader of the Xiguoyuan No. 10 Brigade. This policeman has been fanatically persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He frequently puts cuffs on practitioners' legs and hands. He also directs other prisoners to physically and mentally torture practitioners.

Liu Hong - Male, 60, the original leader of the No. 10 Brigade but retired in January 2004. This policeman followed Jiang to persecute Falun Gong. He used to frequently assault practitioners. He brutally force-fed practitioners on hunger strike. As a form of torture, he would move the plastic tube that was forced down the esophagus of the practitioners back and forth for as long as 30 minutes at a time. This torture would cause bleeding and infections of the nose and the esophagus.

Guan Xiaoman - Male. This policeman used drugs and force-feeding to torture Dafa practitioners.
