Lu Yuanjian at the Brink of Death Due to Torture by Policemen from Tongnan County and Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing City

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Lu Yuanjian is 48 years old. He lives in Shiyan Village, Town of Zitong, Tongnan County, Chongqing City, Sichuan Province. He had suffered from chronic stomach problems and headaches for many years from previous ailments. Despite seeking treatments everywhere, nothing worked. Lu started practicing Falun Dafa in May 1998. In only a few days, his illnesses disappeared. Lu was previously an ill-tempered man, and frequently had conflicts with his neighbors. He loved drinking, and oftentimes abused his wife while he was drunk. After practicing Dafa, Lu eliminated these bad things from his life. He began to treat his wife and children with love and respect. He also got along better with his neighbors. Living according to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," he has become a person who always puts others before himself. He is truly someone who does not strike back when struck and does not swear back when sworn at.

On the night of November 3, 2003, while telling others around his home about the persecution against Falun Gong, Lu was arrested by Zhang Liang, a leader of the local National Security Team, and officials under Zhang's command. Later, Lu was secretly transferred to the Tongnan County Second Police Station to be tortured for a confession. Acting on Zhang Liang's instigation, policemen of the Special Case Investigation Team took turns on Lu. They tried to wear him down by not letting him sleep for days on end. They handcuffed him to the window in such a way that he was standing on his toes. This continued until he passed out, and then he was awakened by the policemen beating him. If Lu passed out, the policemen poured cold water on him. When he regained consciousness, he would be subjected to the same handcuff torture until he passed out again. There is no telling how many times they did this to Lu. In addition, the policemen beat him repeatedly and tormented him in all kinds of ways. They even tore Lu's beard off his face little by little. Later, he was again secretly transferred to the county's custody center, where the persecution continued.

In December 2003, Zhang Liang sent Lu Yuanjian to the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp for further persecution. At Xishanping's Seventh Unit Second Subunit, under the prison police's orders, Lu was tortured and beaten by prisoners who were incarcerated for drug addiction. His head was so badly injured that he was brought to the hospital, where the doctors closed the wound with a dozen stitches. Xishangping's policemen feared that Lu would die in their custody due to his extremely weak condition, so Lu was taken back to Tongnan County around April 14, 2004. He is still confined in prison under Zhang Liang's orders in Tongnan County's Custody Center. Lu's family still has no idea of Lu's whereabouts. Dafa practitioner Lu Yuanjian is currently in grave danger and he is on the brink of death. Tongnan County's National Security Team Leader Zhang Liang sent Lu to Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in hopes of forcing him to renounce Falun Gong. However, Lu Yuanjian believes firmly in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and would not be transformed. Thus, Zhang Liang's plan failed. He is now intensifying the persecution in a vain attempt to have Lu Yuanjian sentenced to prison.

Inevitably, those who persecute the belief of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" will be tried in the court of conscience, justice, and law. We advise those who are still doing evil to reverse course immediately before it's too late.
