Four Families in Huludao City, Liaoning Province Who Have Been Persecuted for Their Beliefs are Targeted for Severe Persecution Again
(Clearwisdom.net) From March 31, 2004 to April 2, 2004, the police in
Huludao City, Liaoning Province arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners who had
left home and became homeless in order to avoid illegal arrest. We learned that
the Province authorities provided a list of names, and the police department of
Huludao City arrested the practitioners by using the list. During these mass
arrests, four families that had already been persecuted for their beliefs were
targeted for persecution again. I. Wang Ruiqi's family: This family resided at the Bohai neighborhood,
Lianshan District of Huludao City. The father is Mr. Wang Ruiqi, around 55 years
old, the mother is Mrs. Shi Yingchun, 54 years old, and the son is Wang Zhuo, 28
years old. Mrs. Shi Yingchun: She was sentenced to two years of forced labor on October.
30, 1999 at the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She suffered all kinds of
inhumane tortures and treatments in the labor camp, which included being shocked
by multiple electric batons simultaneously, being beaten up, which resulted in
the blindness of her left eye, and increased blood pressure at 180/120. As a
result of the torture, she became very weak and skinny. On October 29, 2001,
Mrs. Shi Yingchun was arrested again for practicing the Falun Gong exercises in
a park and was sentenced again to three years of forced labor. Around October
2003, she was almost sent by the Masanjia prison police to the mental hospital
for further persecution. Now, Mrs. Shi Yingchun is still suffering persecution
in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She has been almost constantly imprisoned
since the persecution started nearly five years ago. Mr. Wang Ruiqi: He was sentenced to two years of forced labor in December
2002 for refusing to write the so-called "guarantee statement." He was
kept in the Huludao Labor Camp for persecution until early January 2003. On July
29, 2003, his supervisor from his workplace at Lianshan District Agriculture
Bureau told him that they would send him to the brainwashing class. Thus, Mr.
Wang Ruiqi had to leave home and become homeless to avoid the illegal
persecution. At about 10 am on April 2, 2004, Mr. Wang Ruiqi was arrested again
in Beining Sub-city of Jinzhou City, and has been detained since then. Since the
persecution started in July 1999, Mr. Wang Ruiqi was imprisoned for nearly half
of the time. Mr. Wang Zhuo: He was sentenced to three years of forced labor for going to
Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in October 1999 and for continuing the practice
of Falun Gong. In the Huludao Forced Labor Camp, he suffered several violent
attempts to force him to renounce his belief and was beaten to the point that
his facial features were severely distorted. He has been shocked with multiple
electric batons at the same time by the prison police. In October 2002, when the
three-year term expired, instead of sending him home, the authorities sent him
to the police station. A month later, because he refused to write the
"guarantee statement," he was sent to the detention center. After he
was released, on November 20, 2002, he had to live away from home to avoid
further persecution. On the night of March 31, 2004, the police arrested Mr.
Wang Zhuo again and seized his personal property in his room such as his
computer, cell phone and camcorder. Mr. Wang Zhuo is now being detained at the
Huludao Detention Center. During these nearly five years of persecution, he has
been imprisoned for about two thirds of the time. II. Mrs. Yang Hong's family: This family resided at Room 61, Building 12,
Dongmen District, Huludao City. The mother is named Mrs. Yang Hong, 48 years
old. The daughter is Ms. Guo Yingying, 24 years old. Mrs. Yang Hong: She was sentenced to three years of forced labor for
appealing for Falun Gong in October 1999, and was beaten, electrically shocked
and imprisoned in the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for practicing the
Falun Gong exercises. In October 2001, she left the Masanjia Labor Camp to
attend her father's funeral and became homeless along with her daughter. On
April 2, 2004, before dawn, the police broke into her home and abducted her to
the detention center. She is currently carrying on a hunger strike. Ms. Guo Yingying: She was forced to quit school in 1999 for her firm belief
in Falun Gong. At that time she was only 18 years old and a freshman in college.
In October 2001, her identification card was withheld by the Masanjia Forced
Labor Camp police as a condition to allow her mother, Mrs. Yang Hong, to leave
the labor camp to attend a funeral. The card is still being held by the
authorities today. Later she and her mother left home together to avoid further
harrassment or arrest. On April 2, 2004, before dawn, the police arrested her
and sent her to the detention center, where she has been held since. Mrs. Yang Hong's husband and father were also victims of the persecution.
Yang Hong's husband couldn't stand the double blows of his daughter's
deprivation of education and his wife's sentence to forced labor, and suddenly
diagnosed with acute encephaloma (a tumor or swelling in the brain) in December
1999. In February 2002, he passed away. Mrs. Yang Hong's father was 81 years
old. He had been worrying about his daughter in the labor camp and became
paralyzed in December 2000. He passed away in October 2001. Yingying was just 20
years old when her father and her grandfather both became sick and died. She had
to handle the family affairs, including the funerals, at her young age. III. Mr. Hu Baochun's family: This family resided at the Yangjiazhangzi
Economic Development District of Huludao City. The husband is Mr. Hu Baochun, 48
years old, and the wife Mrs. Liu Liyun is 44 years old. Mr. Hu Baochun has been arrested and detained many times. In October 1999, he
was detained for 30 days in the Huludao Detention Center. He was sent to the
Huludao Labor Camp on three or four occassions and suffered electric shock,
severe beatings and was confined in a solitary compartment. More than ten prison
police beat him simultaneously and as a result, his ribs were broken, he was
deaf in his left year for 6 months, and he suffered from muscular atrophy in his
shoulder. In June 2000, he was arrested at home by the police and sentenced to
one year of forced labor. Because of his firm belief in Falun Dafa, his term was
prolonged for six months. In April 2002, he was arrested at home and sentenced
again. He went on a hunger and water strike, and was released 12 days later.
After that, he was forced to leave home to avoid arrest. In January 2003, he was
abducted in Suizhong County of Huludao City and was sentenced to forced labor
for a third time. He went on a hunger and water strike again, and was released
84 days later in early April 2003. On April 2, 2004, he was taken away by police
again. At present he is thought to be detained at the Huludao Labor Camp. Mrs. Li Liyun: Starting in July 2000, she was subjected to brainwashing at
the Yangjiazhangzi Brainwashing Center for more than forty days. She was
detained three times, including 45 days in Fuyang City, Anhui Province starting
in December 1999, 30 days in Huludao Detention Center starting on June 23, 2000
and 16 days in Huludao Detention Center in December 2001. Before her last
detention, the police ransacked her home, and confiscated a copy machine, Falun
Gong lecture CDs, Falun Gong books and 5000 Yuan. (1) On December 16, 2001, she
was sentenced to four years in prison, and was imprisoned in the seventh Squad
of Division Seven at the Liaoning Province Women's Prison until she was tortured
to death. On July 23, 2002, Mrs. Li Liyun was tortured to death at the Liaoning
Province Women's Prison, and her body was cremated without permission. Mr. Hu
Baochun said, "My father-in-law told me that he went to see my wife's body
in a dark room with no light. He was only allowed to see her face. He saw that
her head was seriously swollen. Even though he didn't have much time with her,
he knew that she had been beaten to death." (From http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/11/7/42035.html,
My Wife Was Tortured to Death, and I Was Detained in a Forced Labor Camp
Three Times) Mr. Hu Baochun and Mrs. Liu Liyun's son, Hu Yang, is still in college. He has
no one to depend on and no means of support. IV. Mrs. Mu Qin's family: This family resided at Room 19, Unit 3,
Building 5, Wenhua Street, Fengle Community of Bohai Neighborhood, Lianshand
District, Huludao City. The wife is Mrs. Mu Qin, 43 years old, and husband is
Mr. Ma Yucheng, 52 years old, and the son Ma Qiang, 13 years old, is an
elementary school student. Mr. Ma Yucheng: He was detained at the end of December 1999 for appealing for

was harassed often and had to leave home with her son and became homeless to
avoid further persecution. On the night of March 31, 2004, she was arrested and
is now detained at the Huludao Detention Center. As a result of the persecution, their thirteen-year-old son Ma Qiang has lost
