Jiamusi Police Repeatedly Harass Practitioners, Forcing Them to Leave Their Homes to Avoid Further Mistreatment

In March 2004, Heilongjiang Province Jiamusi City Police Bureau National Security Police Chen Yongde, Chen Wanyou, and Qianjin Police Bureau National Security Officers Wang Huamin and a few others plotted to arrest a few "key" Dafa practitioners who had been forced to leave their homes and move from place to place in the past 2 to 3 years. They repeatedly harassed these Dafa practitioners' families, monitored their phone calls and kept them under surveillance, watching, following, and even abducting them. Chen himself directed a few policemen and lied in wait near Ms. Wu Xumei's home.

Around 8 o'clock on the 21^st, Chen gathered about 10 policemen, 6 or 7 police vehicles and four fire trucks in front of Wu's home. They broke through her patio windows and ransacked her home. Wu's mother-in-law is nearly 80 years old and was not in good physical condition. She was home alone at that time and was terrified when they broke in and ransacked her home. She suffered severely both mentally and physically as a result. Wang had taken a few policemen there in a minivan, waiting at a selected spot near Wu's home and watching for several days.

Policemen were also found lying in wait at a spot near the home of another practitioner, Ms. Luan Xiuying. On March 30, Chen assembled police from the Xiangyang Police Bureau National Security Team and arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Yingxia in her residence. After that, they waited at Wang's residence. On March 31, they arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Luan Xiuyuan when she appeared at Wang's home. Both of them were held illegally in the detention center.

Practitioners Ms. Yu, Mr. Xu Chenghua, Ms. Wang Yufang and others are still being persecuted while held against their will in the detention center.

Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp still has nearly 180 Dafa practitioners under illegal detention (about 40 men and 140 women). They are being cruelly persecuted. Police Grand Team leader Liu Hongguang, He Qiang and others often ordered police and criminal detainees to curse, beat, and torture the Falun Dafa practitioners. Many people were persecuted to the point where they mentally collapsed. Many practitioners were tortured and became wounded and handicapped. Three male practitioners, Jiang Yongfa, Bi Jiaxin, Zhang Changming and eight female practitioners, Tang Hong, Fang Cuifang, Zhao Fulan, Wang Shujun, Wu Lingxia, Yin Ling, Jia Dongmei, Men Xiaohua died as a result of torture suffered in the forced labor camp. In March and April, many practitioners were still being held past the end of their sentences. Camp officials wouldn't release them, arbitrarily extending their sentences to persecute them further.

There are over 50 Dafa practitioners illegally detained at Jiamusi City Prison. Prison police, led by deputy jail guard leader Liu Changyu, often curse, beat, humiliate and torture Dafa practitioners with cruel punishments. Many practitioners have been left injured or even disabled from the torture.

Practitioner Liu Chuanchang has been unable to take any food for a long time as a result of the mistreatment received. His body has become very emaciated, and his life is in great danger!
