By a practitioner from Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I am 56 years old and I started practicing Falun Gong in April 1999. I had gastric disorders for over 30 years. I also suffered from migraine headaches and sciatica. These problems were all cured after practicing Falun Gong. Here I want tell the story about a critically ill person who was cured by learning the truth of Falun Gong. I also want to share how others, after hearing about this case, realized the truth of the persecution and even started practicing Falun Gong themselves.

One day in September 2003, one of my relatives told me that 58-year-old Ms. Cao Fenglan, one of my neighbors in my hometown, had cirrhosis of the liver in the very late stage and was expected to die very soon. The hospital had already sent out a notice to her family about Ms. Cao's critical illness. I felt that there must be some predestined reason that I heard this news, so I brought along some fruits and went to the hospital to visit her. On my way to the hospital, I sent forth righteous thoughts to clean out any evil factors that might prevent her from understanding the truth. When I walked into her ward and saw my neighbor lying on her back, her stomach was distended more than twelve inches and her complexion was very pale. I asked her, "How do you feel?" She answered, "I'm dying."

Then I started telling her the facts about Falun Gong. I told her about the changes that occurred in my own health after I starting to practice Falun Gong. Next I talked about the persecution of Falun Gong. I explained that the sole reason for the persecution is because Falun Gong is so good and that Jiang is jealous of it. In the past seven years, there were over 100 million people practicing Falun Gong. It was because of Jiang's jealousy that he staged the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square, and has framed practitioners with false allegations of suicides and murders. I told her that those were all lies and that none of it was true. Then I told her that a person who knows that Falun Dafa is good and who believes that Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good will be blessed. She said, "I'm dying, I have nothing to be afraid of." Then she repeated loudly with me, "Falun Dafa is Good!"

The second day I visited my friend, I brought the book, Zhuan Falun, and the exercise instruction videotapes to her. Already she looked like she was getting better. When she saw me, my neighbor told me she had had a good sleep that night, which had been impossible before. At that moment my eyes filled with tears and I said to her, "Study the Fa (1) diligently."

One month later, one of her family members visited me and told me that my friend had been cured. I said it was Falun Gong that saved her. Only Falun Gong could have brought about such a miracle.

Some time later, I visited my old neighbor again. She told me delightedly, "Falun Gong is so good! I went to the hospital for a follow-up examination, but they couldn't find any problems. Falun Dafa gave me a second life. That explains why those Falun Gong practitioners will not give up the practice even when they are tortured and killed." The doctors in the hospital told her it was a miracle. They could hardly believe she could be cured.

I told her, "You should tell others about what happened and let others realize the truth." Then I taught her the five sets of exercises. As I was leaving, she offered to pay the cost of my trip. I told her, "Falun Gong practitioners teach the exercises completely voluntarily. We don't accept money or any other payment." When I got back home and told my family how her life had been saved, all my family members were amazed. They all said, "Falun Gong is great." Now they all want to learn to practice Falun Gong. My two nieces, my younger sister's entire family, my elder sister (in her 70's), her daughter, my son, my daughter-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter are all practicing Falun Gong.

Word about this miracle is spreading rapidly. All the local people know about it. I have witnessed the fact that Dafa is a true science. And, this story also lets more people come to understand how deceptive Jiang's regime is in its persecution of such a great practice.
