California, USA: The Eureka Reporter: China (Jiang's Group) Persecutes Practitioners

Dear Editor,

The world needs more good people. At this time in history, there are few people who do not agree that society is in decline, and there are even less who have any answers to this sinking.

We can feel it in the environment around us in daily life.

In China, there are millions of people trying to better their lives by being more truthful, compassionate and tolerant. These values are something that are universally recognized as good, and beneficial to society.

Yet, sadly, the government (Jiang's group) in China outlawed the way that these people were taking to better themselves. This way is known as Falun Gong, and the persecution of people in China who practice Falun Gong is the saddest occurrence imaginable.

To be told to stop being a good person or face torture and death is a choice that no one should be asked to make. Please oppose this persecution of good people as a matter of conscience, and contact info@fofg.org for more information.

Falun Gong is practiced freely in the United States, and in many countries around the world. Its healing benefits, as well as the mental peace that comes from self-improvement, make Falun Gong a benefit to anyone who wants to practice it.

Every Sunday at 10 a.m. on The Arcata Plaza, people can be seen practicing the tranquil meditation exercises of Falun Gong.
