Whereas, Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a traditional Chinese Qigong practice for improving the mind and body through gentle exercise; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa has helped millions of people improve their health, upgrade their moral standard and deepen their understanding of humanity and the universe; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa has a significant effect on stress-relief and overall mental and physical health; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa system of the body-mind-spirit emphasizing the principle of Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance), the goal of which is to help pursue more meaningful lives.

Now Therefore, I, Ted Ellis, Mayor of the City of Bluffton, Indiana, do hereby proclaim

and join with our entire community in this observation.
