A Spanish-language TV Station in California Reports on the "Van Tour to Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin"
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 12, the West Coast "Van Tour to Support the
Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin" arrived in Fresno, a central California city,
to introduce Falun Dafa and the facts of the persecution to the local residents.
The practitioners' arrival attracted the local media's attention. Several local
radio and TV stations came to the event site to take photos and interview the
practitioners. In a program aired that same day, a Spanish-language TV station, Fresno
Channel 21, reported on the practitioners' event. The report said, "A
unique demonstration took place this morning in front of City Hall where acts of
torture were portrayed. The demonstrators are trying to inform people of the
torture, persecution and violations of human rights to believers and
practitioners of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is a popular form of meditation and
exercise that was prohibited in China in 1999." The report said that practitioners would deliver this message to different
cities on their route to Chicago and they hoped that more people would pay
closer attention to the court hearing that will soon be held in Chicago's
Federal Court. The lawsuit is to protect the human rights of those who have been
tortured and even killed in China [because of practicing Falun Gong]. The report also said that practitioners were asking the community to contact
their local Government officials, asking them to put pressure on the Chinese government
to end the persecution.
