Liaoning Province is against Falun Dafa and places much effort in following and
arresting the Dafa practitioners in his area. He subjected practitioners Yang
Dongjie, Yu Zijun and Wang Chengui to cruel tortures when they returned from
Beijing after they had appealed for Falun Dafa. He would beat and verbally abuse
Dafa practitioners while taking practitioners to the forced labor camp. He
refused to let practitioners eat and when practitioners would confront him about
his behavior, he would viciously say, "If you swear at your Master, I will stop
beating you and let you eat." When practitioners tried to clarify the truth to
him, he did not listen and would swear loudly at Falun Dafa and at the founder,
Teacher Li Hongzhi. In June 2002, on his return trip from taking practitioners
to the Lishu Detention Center, his police car collided with a farmer's
four-wheeled cart. The driver was disabled in the accident and Li Hongjun, who
was sleeping in the back seat, died at the site. He was 34. This accident has
had a great impact throughout the local area. Former Liaoning Province Forced Labor Camp Chief Guo Jianguo Dies in Jail In 2002, former Liaoning Province Forced Labor Camp Chief, Guo Jianguo, sent
orders to police and criminal inmates at all jails and labor camps in Liaoning
Province to beat and use all kinds of unlawful means to cruelly torture Falun
Dafa practitioners. He also drastically reduced the sentences of criminal
inmates who beat Falun Dafa practitioners. During the 2003 Spring Festival, Guo

Hongkeli Township Police Station has been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners
since July 20, 1999. He was diagnosed with bone disease and heart disease, and
he is now confined in a Beijing Hospital. April 22, 2004 [Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward
actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating,
torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another
way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due
retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of
this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who
persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires
that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by
reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.] Posting date: 5/8/2004
