(Clearwisdom.net) On May 2, Oregon State Falun Gong practitioners participated in an annual international Spring Festival celebration held at Oregon State University. Practitioners informed people visiting their booth about the self-cultivation practice, as well as the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners face in China.

Oregon State University's Daily Barometer reported on May 3 that the activity celebrated cultures from across the world. The event included live cultural performances, international cuisine and an international fashion show.

The report said that Dana Churchill, a practitioner of Falun Dafa, helped at the booth to inform about the self-cultivation practice, and the persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have faced in China. The report also said that near the booth, some practitioners sat cross-legged in meditation. Churchill introduced that more than 100 million people practice Falun Dafa, many of them in China. He also introduced that the three main principles from Falun Dafa are truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. Practitioners relieve stress and improve their health through achieving spiritual balance.
