(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Sichuan Province] Chengdu Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Yi Is Missing Since
the Eve of May 1, 2003. Chengdu Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Yi disappeared on the eve of May 1, 2003.
Her whereabouts are still unknown. Ms. Li Yi was sentenced without due process
to one-year of detention in a forced labor camp because she went to Beijing to
appeal for Dafa between March 2001 and February 2002. She was detained at the
Zizhong Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province. 2. [Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhan Min from Xinjin County,
Chengdu City, Arrested and Detained On April 28, personnel from the Xinjin County Culture and Education
Department and officers from the local residential area police station arrested
Ms. Zhan Min from Xinjin County, Chengdu City, somewhere along a road. Her
family members were notified that she had been sent to "study." At
present her whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Zhan Ming was a schoolteacher in Xinjin. Because she was steadfast in her
practice of Falun Dafa she was fired by her employer in December 2000. She was
sentenced without due process to forced labor for two years by the Xinjin Public
Security Department. While detained at the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp for more
than two years, she was subjected to numerous tortures. In February 2003, Ms.
Zhan went on a hunger strike, and with righteous thoughts, she managed to escape
from detention. 3. [Inner Mongolia] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Tian Fang From Tongliao Goes on a
Hunger Strike to Protest The Persecution Ms. Tian Fang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. As of May
28, she had fasted for seven days. This is the fourth time she has gone on a
hunger strike. She wrote two letters to report about the abuses perpetrated by
police officer Shao Jun of the "610 Office" (1), and three letters
regarding the facts of the persecution that her family members were subjected
to. The five letters were turned over to the responsible officer in charge of
the police station. 4. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhao Yulian
Persecuted Until She is Unable to Take Care Herself A few days before the Two Meetings (March Session), the Director of Haidai
Town, Longkou City, Wang Gang, together with several ruffians, broke into the
home of Ms. Zhao Yulian. They were going to arrest her without due cause. But
she resisted, and ran down the home's entrance walkway. The police officers gave
chase. Ms. Zhao Yulian fell on the walkway, hurting her ankle and back, and thus
was no longer able to move. Wang Gang carried her to the vehicle and took her
into town. At that moment, Zhao Yulian's face was pale from the pain. Her ankle
was swollen, and purple in color. Not until late in the afternoon was she taken
to the hospital, where a cast was put on her ankle. She stayed at the hospital
for only five days. Before the ankle swelling subsided, she was forcibly sent to
the "610 Office" brainwashing center. Under the intense pressure from
her work division and family members, she was released after more than two weeks
of detention. At present, Ms. Zhao Yulian is still unable to care for herself. 5. [Sichuan Province] Chongqing Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yuan Qingsheng is
Persecuted Again Mr. Yuan Qingsheng, 52 years old, is an employee of the Chongqing Changan
Company Number One Factory. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun
Dafa began, Mr. Yuan Qingsheng went to Beijing to appeal, which is a right
granted under the Chinese Constitution. He was unlawfully arrested and sent for
a two-year term in a forced labor camp. He suffered cruel torture, and his life
is in danger. He escaped the persecution when he was sent out of the camp for
medical treatment. After returning home, Mr. Yuan Qingsheng told everyone the
facts of the persecution, and after May 2003 he was forced to leave home to
avoid further unlawful arrest. In April, 2004, Mr. Yuan was arrested in Fuling.
His present whereabouts are unknown. 6. [Henan Province] Shangjie District, Zhengzhou City Dafa Practitioner Mr.
Xing Fusheng Arrested Mr. Xing Fusheng, 47, lost his job because he practiced Falun Gong and
clarified the facts of the persecution. To earn a living and provide for his
family, he opened a food shop near the intersection of Zhongxin Road and Mengjin
Road in the Shangjie District. At 1:50 p.m. on May 25, 2004, after most
customers had left the shop, five police officers from the Jiyuan Road Police
Station, led by Chen Shuhai, who had been observing the shop, suddenly rushed
into the shop and dragged him into a police vehicle. Mr. Xing's present
whereabouts are unknown. 7. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Yuan Ruilan and Two Other Dafa Practitioners from
Zhanjiang City Arrested On May 26, 2004 Ms. Yuan Ruilan and two fellow practitioners were on their
way to order some cake when the police from the Chikan District Police Station,
Zhanjiang City, arrested them. At present, no details are available. Formerly,
Ms. Yuan Ruilan suffered from a terminal disease, but after practicing Dafa, she
completely recovered. Phone of official involved in the case: 8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Feng Enke
Arrested in the Sujiatun District At the beginning of May this year, Mr. Feng Enke went to Wanggang Village,
Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, to distribute truth clarification CDs. Someone
reported him to the authorities, and on May 10, Jin Changli, of the Sujiatun
District "610 Office," together with police officer Fu Yongan from the
Huxi Police station and a locksmith, went to the home of Feng Enke. While no one
was at home, they broke into his home and unlawfully removed Dafa books and
other items from the house. On May 11, Feng Enke was arrested after arriving at
his home. He is now detained at the Sujiatun Branch Office. 9. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner He Wenqiang Arrested At about 7:30 p.m. on May 26, Dafa practitioner He Wenqiang from Fengcheng
City, Liaoning Province was clarifying the facts at Kuandian when police
arrested him. He is presently unlawfully detained at the Kuandian Criminal
Detention Center. Office involved in the Persecution of He Wenqiang: 10. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Cases of Dafa Practitioners Being
Persecuted at the Longquan Police Station On May 26, 2004, police from the Longquan Police Station, Tonghua City, Jilin
Province unlawfully arrested Falun Gong practitioner Wang Ping at his home.
Initially, two police officers from the Longquan Police Station went to harass
Wang Ping at about 9:00 a.m. Wang Ping refused to let them into the house. At
about 10:00 a.m., Wang Ping was forcibly taken away. They also went to Wang
Ping's work unit to harass and search the unit. Wang Ping is presently detained
at the Changliu Detention Center. At the end of March, around 6:00 p.m., Dafa practitioners Yin Hongwei and Li
Jingzhi (a married couple) were arrested at their home without cause, and sent
to the Laozhan Police Station, leaving their high school-aged daughter alone in
the house. Li Jingzhi was sentenced to two years at a forced labor camp and is
now detained at the Changchun Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp. The whereabouts
of Yin Hongwei are not known. Dafa practitioner Qu Xiaofei was doing some work at home at the end of April
when police officers from the Laozhan Police Station suddenly arrived and
arrested him. He was savagely tortured for two days and nights and then sent to
the Changliu Detention Center. 11. [ShenyangCity, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Shixiang and Ms. Chen Yufeng
Have Served Their Terms But Instead of Being Released, Are Sent to the Zhangshi
Brainwashing Session Shenyang Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Shixiang was unlawfully sent to a forced
labor camp at the Longshan Rehabilitation Center and was due for release on May
5, 2004. On that date the "610 Office" immediately transferred her to
the Zhangshi Brainwashing Session. Shenyang Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yufeng
was sent for persecution at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp by the Longshan
Rehabilitation Center. She was due to be released on May 27, 2004, but the
"610 Office" also sent her to the Zhangshi Brainwashing Session. 12. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Liping
Persecuted by the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Ms. Sun Liping, a Dafa practitioner from Songjianghe, Fusong County, Jilin
Province, was preparing truth clarification materials when she was arrested in
Huludao, Liaoning Province. She was sent to the Masanjia Female Forced Labor
Camp. The police have not allowed her family members to visit her since her
arrest. In May, 2004, she was tortured until she could no longer walk. The
police then told her family members they could visit her. 13. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xin Enhao is Held
Under False Charges, Exceeding Her Sentence Term at the Xindian Female Forced
Labor Camp, Shanxi Province Ms. Xin Enhao, 28, is a resident at the Tenth Mine of the Datong Mining
Department. In August, 2001, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and
was arrested and unlawfully sentenced to two and a half years in a forced labor
camp. She is presently detained at the Xindian Forced Labor Camp, Shanxi
Province, where she is suffering severe torture that has devastated her both
physically and mentally. She was originally due to be released in February 2004,
but due to her steadfast belief in Dafa, she is still not allowed to go home. Shanxi Xindian Female Forced Labor Camp Political Committee, Lu Ping:
86-351-3159194 14. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Whereabouts of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang
Xirong Not Known Ms. Zhang Xirong, 69, from Xihua Gardens, Datong City, Shanxi Province, went
to Tiananmen Square to appeal on December 13, 2000. She was arrested at
Tiananmen Square. Her present whereabouts are unknown. 15. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioners Ms. Wang Yugui and Ms.
Xiao Lihua Arrested At about 5:30 p.m. on May 24, 2004, Jilin Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Yugui
and Ms. Xiao Lihua were hanging up truth clarifying banners at the Longtanshan
Public Park in Jilin City. They were both unlawfully arrested. Their present
whereabouts are unknown. Jilin City Longtanshan Public Park: 86-432-3093384 16. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Shuhua From Harbin City and Mr. Liu
Haoming From Hulan County Unlawfully Sentenced On May 16, 2003, Police arrested Harbin Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Shuhua,
53, at the home of a fellow practitioner in the Daowei Region. She was
unlawfully sentenced to two years of detention. She has filed an appeal and is
at present still detained at the Harbin City Number One Detention Center. Hulan County Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Haoming, 29, was unlawfully sentenced
to eleven years of detention in June, 2003. It is not known where he is being
detained. 17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Hongshan Region Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yan
Xiaomei Arrested and Detained On May 18, , Dafa practitioner Ms. Yan Xiaomei, from the Hongshan Region,
Wuhan City, was purchasing vegetables at the market when she was unlawfully
arrested by police officers from the "610 Office." She is being
detained and persecuted at the Jiufeng Brainwashing Center, Hongshan Region,
Wuhan City. 18. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong
Imprisoned in Room 0533 in the Longshan Rehabilitation Unit of the Medical
University Ms. Gao Rongrong is at present imprisoned at the Longshan Rehabilitation
Center of the China Medical University Number One Auxiliary Unit (abbreviated to
"Medical Unit"), and suffering extreme persecution. On the afternoon
of May 29, 2004, a doctor of the "Medical Unit" Fourth Floor
Orthopedics Unit personally confirmed that Gao Rongrong is currently
hospitalized in the Second Orthopedics Section Room 0533. 19. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Surong, 60, and Ren Yuehui Persecuted and
Enslaved at the Chuanxi Prison Because they were steadfast in their belief, 60-year-old Ms. Zhao Surong and
Ms. Ren Yuehui were sentenced to four-year jail terms by the Yanjiang Region Law
Court, Ziyang City. At present, they are suffering increasingly severe
persecution at the Chuanxi Female Prison. The Chuanxi Female Prison is to the outside world known as the "Miaoxi
Costume Limited Company," but it is actually a center where more than one
hundred Falun Gong practitioners are unlawfully detained. When Zhao Surong and
Ren Yuehui were sent there, they were forced to do more than ten hours of manual
labor daily. When they were not working, they were forced to attend brainwashing
sessions. Their lives are extremely difficult. Zhao Surong has been isolated
from other Dafa practitioners since April. She is detained on the third floor
and is constantly subjected to severe torture. (1) "610 Office"- A bureau specifically created by the
Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each
level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and
judiciary branches.
