These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

Former Deputy Head of a Prison Administration Group Receives Karmic Retribution

Zhou Guichun, a female deputy head for the Prison Administration Group in the Police Department of Dalian City, was in charge of detention centers and forced labor camps. In September 1999, over 50 female Dafa practitioners were detained in the Dalian City Detention Center. Zhou took part in the persecution against those female practitioners using physical torture including beating and "Imprisonment in Hell" (1). In early 2001, she was transferred to the Dalian Labor Camp as the head of the women's unit. In the beginning of 2003, she was transferred back to the Dalian City Detention Center. Zhou had encountered a series of misfortunes within a one-year period. She had a car accident in 2003. In the winter of 2003, she was stabbed by thieves on her way home one night. Her experiences should serve as a warning to those who persecute Dafa practitioners: Wrong-doing will bring harm to one's life.

The Head of the Police Department in Dengfeng City, Henan Province is Killed in a Car Accident

Ren Changxia, female, 40 years old, head of the police department in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, received karmic retribution recently for persecuting Dafa practitioners. She died in a car accident on April 13. She was the only fatality among the passengers in the car.

Four Dafa practitioners in Dengfeng City once went to the City Government Compound to hand out truth-clarification materials and were arrested by the police. Upon learning the situation, Ren Changxia sentenced these four practitioners and another practitioner, Ms. Zhao Yueyun from Zhengzhou City, to five years in prison without any legal grounds. Those practitioners were all detained in the Xinxiang Women's Prison.

Local Ruffian in Luancheng County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province Receives Karmic Retribution

truth-clarification materials when the notorious local ruffian Zhao Libo saw him and shouted loudly, drawing a crowd of people. Relying on physical advantage, Zhao Libo who was in his 30s, slandered Falun Gong in public and beat and kicked Cheng Jingshang, a senior citizen.

In the county detention center, Mr. Cheng Jingshang was beaten so badly that he was severely devastated physically and mentally. He was later transferred to the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp and was illegally sentenced to three years of labor. Since Mr. Cheng kept up a hunger strike and nearly died, his family members took him home for medical leave.

In late April, Zhao Libo was at odds with another villager and his heel bone cracked while they pushed each other violently. His hospitalization cost several thousand yuan (2). He is now forced to stay in bed and cannot take care of himself. The villagers talked in private, saying that this was his retribution since he persecuted Falun Gong and committed a lot of wrongdoing.

Retribution Case in Qingyuan Town

Chen Peiyou, the director of Qingyuan County Qingyuan Town Zhengzhong Village Security Committee, followed Jiang's group to persecute Falun Gong. Since July 1999, he went to every family to search for Dafa books and materials, forced Dafa practitioners to write and sign "Guarantee Statements" (4), and in many ways caused damage to Dafa and persecuted Dafa practitioners. His wife was hostile to Dafa because of his influence. In October 2002, his wife went to the county seat and was hit by a bus. She broke her ribs and teeth. However, Chen did not recognize the retribution. In May 2003, he led several policemen and abducted Dafa practitioner Zhou Meina and two other family members.

Party Deputy Secretary of Jinning County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province Dies in a Car Accident

After Pang Shuguang was appointed as the deputy secretary of Jinning County, he participated in engineering the persecution of Falun Gong. Many Dafa practitioners were arrested, detained and sent to forced labor camps. Dafa practitioner Bao Weiyuan from the Kunming Phosphorus Mine died as a result of the persecution. In late March 2004, Pang and his mistress drove a car to Kunming City. The car rolled over on the highway and he died. The fact that he received karmic retribution had a big impact among local government officials and on the general public.

Policeman in Maojiashan Women's Labor Camp in Chongqing City Dies Suddenly

Vicious policeman Wei Shan was 40 years old. He had received three "awards" for his brutal tactics in persecuting Dafa practitioners. He used to work in Sichuan Province 2^nd Prison (now called Chongqing City Prison) and later was transferred to Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp where he was responsible for persecuting Dafa practitioners.

In March 2003, Wei Shan went to Chongqing City Xinqiao Hospital for a physical exam and the results showed no problems. But one week later, when he was making a phone call in his office to arrange further persecution of Falun Gong, he suddenly died next to the telephone before even finishing the conversation.

Former Director of a Health Department in Guantao County, Handan City, Hebei Province Dies of Cancer

Zhao Fuxiang, former Director of the Health Department in Guantao County, Handan City, Hebei Province, was in his 50s. Since 1999, he persecuted Dafa practitioners. He ordered the monitoring of practitioners and verbally abused them. Dafa practitioners tried to clarify the truth to him and he refused to listen and kept doing bad deeds. On September 1, 2002, Zhao was diagnosed with cancer and died on October 1.

Three Village Officials Receive Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Dafa

A village supervisor named Wang, Security Chief Zhang and Village Committee member Wang in Guantao County all followed Jiang to persecute Dafa. They tailed, monitored, and fined practitioners.

Several months ago, Village Supervisor Wang felt uncomfortable and went to the hospital. The doctor asked him to stay at the hospital. He died a few days later. Security Chief Zhang of the village had hemiplegia and could not move. Another village committee member named Wang also recently died of disease. Three people received karmic retribution. People who knew them said, "For a few hundred yuan, they followed Jiang's group to persecute good people. See what happened? They paid with their lives."

Man Dies Due to Karmic Retribution

Yang Zhenyi from Zhaoguan Village, Weidong Town, Guantao County used to have all kinds of chronic diseases including hepatitis. After practicing Falun Gong, all his diseases were gone and he was able to do laborious work again. Since Jiang's regime started persecuting Dafa in 1999, the officials from the township, village and police department often came to his home to harass him. Under terror and pressure, Yang Zhenyi was frightened and wrote statements giving up his Dafa practice. He also cooperated with the evil and recorded many words slandering Dafa on videotape. He gave up his cultivation. Shortly afterwards, his old diseases relapsed and he went to the hospital for treatment and died.

Vicious Policeman in the Pingchuan District of Baiyin City, Gansu Province, Falls from a Building and is Severely Injured

Sun Jie, former head of the Political Security Section at the Pingchuan District Police Department of Baiyin City, Gansu Province, illegally abducted Dafa practitioners and beat practitioners badly. Now he has received karmic retribution. On May 3, 2004, Sun Jie fell from the third story of a building and was severely injured. He had a broken skull and a brain hematoma. Because of acute skull and brain injury causing a coma, he did not wake up for ten days. Currently Sun still does not have a clear head and is now being treated in a local hospital.

During the last four years, Sun Jie refused to listen to the kind advice from Dafa practitioners and brutally persecuted local Falun Gong practitioners. He illegally abducted over 30 practitioners. During the detainment of those practitioners in local detention and drug rehabilitation centers, Sun Jie ordered people to conduct beatings, to confine practitioners in extremely small cells, to hang them up by handcuffs and to deprive practitioners of sleep for extended periods of time. He ordered other criminal inmates to beat and torture Dafa practitioners and tried to extort money from practitioners and their families. He also fabricated false evidence to frame Dafa practitioners in order to send practitioners to forced labor camps. He has sent more than ten practitioners to labor camps.

(1) Imprisonment in Hell: This is a device intended for death row inmates. Whenever the practitioner sleeps or moves, plier-shaped clasps are dug into the practitioners' skin.

(2) Yuan is the Chinese currency; 500 yuan is equal to the average monthly income of an urban worker in China.

(3) The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

(4) Guarantee Statements: Statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.
