The Importance of Clarifying the Truth More Deeply

(Clearwisdom.net) Right now it is much easier to clarify the truth in China compared to before, and many people have understood our message. However, today there are still so many people who do not know the facts; people do not know that the "Tiananmen self-immolation" incident was staged, do not know that Jiang Zemin has been sued in foreign countries, and do not know that Falun Gong is being wrongfully persecuted. Why?

I think there are two main reasons. The first is that there are very few Dafa practitioners in China who treat clarifying the truth as a natural and prominent part of their lives, and there are still too many Dafa practitioners who clarify the truth with all kinds of selfish attachments. We have reduced the effectiveness of truth clarification and have not achieved what we should have.

Imagine if each Dafa practitioner could clarify the truth well to ten people each day. That would mean 100 people in ten days and 1,000 people in 100 days. With one million Dafa practitioners, we could clarify the truth to one billion people within 100 days at this pace, and in one year we could clarify the truth to 3.65 billion people. The fact is that there are much more than one million Dafa practitioners, more than even ten million.

If everyone in China understood that Falun Gong is being innocently persecuted, and everyone agreed that such a persecution should be stopped, then no one would participate in the persecution, and the persecution itself would disappear. However, the persecution continues till today, and this should be a concern for every Dafa practitioner; this means that we 100 million Dafa practitioners have not all met the Fa's requirements. Even by clarifying the truth to one person each day, with 100 million Dafa practitioners, we could clarify the truth to all Chinese people and help them understand the truth in two weeks. Therefore, I believe that not every one of us has truly done our best to clarify the truth well - this is the first reason.

The second reason is that even for the Dafa practitioners who are able to clarify the truth to everyone they meet, some times we take it easy and stop going deeper as soon as we see that the person is not against Falun Gong. It is understandable if the other person is a stranger, but if the other person is a friend or relative, we should clarify the truth to them at a deeper level, to make sure they further understand the truth about Dafa based on facts and logic. This way this person will talk to others and make positive comments about this issue according to his own understanding. This person will speak in favor of Falun Gong and help more people understand the truth. The more such people there are, the more people will understand the truth through them. So my personal understanding is that not clarifying the truth at a deeper level is the second reason why there are still lots of people who do not understand Dafa.

In case some practitioners still encounter interference from the evil during truth clarification, that may be because the practitioners still have the attachment of being afraid. The evil cannot exist if we do not fear or acknowledge it. This is because sometimes a Dafa practitioner does not realize his true origin and role in the Fa-rectification.
